"What a spot! We had a most enjoyable 5 days at this lovely cottage."
"We spent the Easter weekends there had a very relaxing time. The cottage is right in front of the beach where local surfers come for waves. We enjoyed coffee over beautiful sunset. There was a short trail along the beach and we enjoyed a walk. It's a quiet, peaceful town.<div>The room was spacious and clean. The owner was friendly.</div>"
"Cottage on the Kom is really a magical spot. The view is fabulous and the gracious hosts Debbie and Willie have thought of all of the little things to make your stay really comfortable. I highly recommend Cottage on the Kom to those that love scenic beauty, seaside village life, plants, birds and animals - a true little slice of heaven on our beautiful coastline."
"Very friendly host. Very clean facilities. Amazing view, great walks and surroundings."
"Spectacular setting and awesome hosts! We were looking for a self catering unit with easy access to the sea, with a sea view and away from the buzz. Clean, neat and cosy decorating! Will definitely return."
"Excellent quiet position and very well appointed cottage with garden frontage overlooking the rocky shore and sea. The owners were very welcoming and supportive. As well as being well situated for local coastal walks the cottage also provides an ideal base for exploring the attractions of the Cape Peninsula. The four friendly family dogs were great characters and, for us, an added bonus!"
"Total privacy, even being attached to the main house...lovely hosts, great location and amazing views, even from the bed."
"The Cottage is a hugely satisfying place to stay in Kommetjie. The site on the Kom, the view through the trees, the delightful garden front and back not to mention the comfort of the well-thought furnishings."
"Cotage on the Kom is really the perfect setting for a couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The unit was well-furnished and had everything we needed. The view from the unit was fantastic overlooking the lush green garden and ocean just a few metres away. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back."
"A very comfortable self catering establishment which was not only very nicely furnished, but unlike other self catering establishments it was not furnished and equipped with second hand mish mash of old discards of the owner or elsewhere. The host was very helpful and we can truly say it was like home from home and the location is ideal and you are even protected from a howling South Easter. Highly recommended."
"A very nice place to stay! Good views and a very spacious - luxurious almost - room. Very friendly owners."
"After about 12 days of travelling South Africa on buses, staying in hostels and tenting in Kruger Park, there was no better way to spend our last two days than at this cottage. We wish we could've stayed longer! Tucked away on the west side of the Cape with wonderful views of the ocean and mountains around you, this is such a relaxing place. It's also a great way to spend your time at the Cape as you can easily hop in your car and make the drive to Chapman's Peak, Simon's Town or right down to the Cape of Good Hope. Debbie and Will are extremely friendly, the cottage is in pristine condition and Debbie makes a wonderful breakfast to start your day - if you opt to go that route. I'm only disappointed we couldn't stay longer and truly hope we can go back to South Africa one day, and if so, we'll definitely be staying at the Cottage on the Kom again. Thank you Debbie and Will!"
"This spot is perfectly located for surfers and wives/girlfriends of surfers ...right on the Kom. Very friendly family and hospitality! I am sure we'll be back one day."
"This was the ideal breakaway at a place that was home away from home! We definitely will go back!"
"We had a fantastic time at Cottage on the Kom. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything you need. The real magic is what waits to be discovered outside. The cottage opens up onto a garden that becomes rock pools that becomes the sea. No road separating you from the sea which means if you have young children they can come and go as they like. There's a small bike path that meanders along the sea which is great for cycling. Other than that it's an ideal weekend getaway."
"The cottage is perfect, we stayed there for two nights. And it is a very beautiful place, very comfortable and luxurious. We loved it!"
"What a delightful self-catering unit this is. The owners Michelle and Willie were extremely friendly and helpful. Well equipped cottage with stunning views. Will not hesitate to recommend this!"
