House of Braganza

The House of Braganza is a truly special place to stay in Kommetjie, Cape Town, offering true hospitality. The guest house boasts 2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms as well as a shared private guest lounge/dining room area with a self catering kitchenette and balcony. Each splendidly appointed room faces the sea as do the luxury bathrooms with a spa bath, separate shower and two basins. Each room is equipped with independent business DSTV and Wi-Fi. A full English or continental breakfast is served. We've got a guest braai (barbecue) area and a pool on the premises. I can do lunch, supper or pack a picnic basket. The ultimate luxury and comfort. We've got a small library on the premises. We are situated close to Cape Point Nature Reserve, Fish Hoek, Simons Town, Noordhoek and Chapmans Peak Drive. The beach is literally on your doorstep and you have views across Hout Bay and Table Mountain and you have easy access to all Cape Town's attractions. Watch the whales and penguins from the nearby beaches You can enjoy the serenity of a dream house away from home. "We could not have been happier with our 5 night stay at House of Braganza. It was a perfect location with stunning sunsets. The accommodations were exactly what we needed as two couples traveling together through South Africa. We had a private bath off our bedrooms and a central sitting room with a kitchenette . Each morning Henobi presented us with a beautiful and delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed relaxing walks on the beach."

"Our two night stay at the House of Braganza was nigh on perfect. Henobi is the perfect host and cannot do enough. Great attention to detail in our room with a high quality en-suite shower, twin sinks and jacuzzi with very decent towels and toiletries. Really good size bed and dual aspect window. Henobi serves a really delicious breakfast to set you up for the day. Be aware that there are 2 double rooms for rent and they open onto a shared sitting room cum breakfast/dining area so one can be heard by the other couple if they are in the sitting room. Bear in mind the house is situated on a side road close to the main road into Kommetjie and you may hear some traffic in the morning."

"Our four-day stay at the House of Braganza was at the end of a month-long trip to South Africa, and it was the best B&B we stayed at. The cleanliness, ambiance, food, and attention to detail were the best of our trip. Everything, including complimentary wine and beer, and a daily chocolate at the bedside, was included for a reasonable price. The breakfast variety was also the best we encountered. A secure and warm environment in a quiet area with beautiful views. Highly recommended."
