Kommetjie Olive House

Kommetjie Olive House is a spacious double-storey house situated a mere 15-minute walk from the lovely Kommetjie Beach.

The house is comfortably furnished throughout and can sleep between four and six guests. The main bedroom is located upstairs and is furnished with a king-size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath, and opens onto the terrace with lovely sea views. A second bedroom is located on the lower level and is furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower only and opens onto the lower terrace. The study can be used as a third bedroom and is furnished with a sleeper couch. If used, this room will share bathroom facilities with another room.

The upper level comprises of an open-plan living room containing the dining area and kitchen, which is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, oven, toaster, tea and coffee facilities and a dishwasher. A washing machine is available in the garage and guests can enjoy their meals at the six-seater dining table or relax in the lounge which is equipped with a Satellite TV. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace and opens onto a furnished terrace. Due to safety issues such as the pool and stairs, children younger than four years are unfortunately not allowed.

Guests can relax in the lovely garden, cool down in the swimming pool or make use of the gas barbecue facilities while enjoying a sundowner on one of the terraces. The house is cleaned weekly and off-street parking is available.

Kommetjie is a fabulous place for a beach holiday as it has pristine beaches and a beautiful bay for swimming and surfing. Guests can also visit the countrys tallest cast-iron lighthouse, the Slangkoppunt Lighthouse, which was built in 1919, or Imhoff Farm, which is converted farm buildings that now provides a bakery, tea garden, craft shops, art studios and a cheese dairy. There are also camel and horse rides for children.
