Lighthouse Cottage

Lighthouse Cottage is a spacious, open-plan cottage located in Kommetjie, Cape Town. In peak season, Kommetjie remains a prime destination for relaxing and enjoying, surrounded by a safe environment filled with rich outdoor life.

The cottage captures an elevated sea view with an idyllic atmosphere, and is furnished with a modern African touch. Our outdoor veranda boasts magnificent sea views, while the bedroom is lined with sky windows which makes the room very sunny. The lounge and dining room includes a sleeper couch, TV and CD player, and the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. There are also barbecue facilities with a beautiful sitting area and a swimming pool with sea views.

The cottage is a two-minute walk to the magnificent unspoilt beaches and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The area offers loads of activities and things to do, such as horse rides on Long Beach, hiking trails, bird-watching, a snake and reptile park, golf courses, crayfish diving, spear fishing, cycle routes, baboon-watching and tours, as well as whale-watching in winter. It is also close to the Penguin Colony, Cape Point and the Wine Route, and the area is well-known for its world class windsurfing beaches and surfing breaks.
