  "I must confess that I was a bit sceptical about staying in Kwangwanase but Maputaland Lodge was great!My room with kitchenette was spacious, well appointed, the shower was fabulously hot. I was exceptionally comfortable. The bonus of the restaurant after a long day's travel was awesome. The choice of wine was limited but I was happy with the bottle of Barone and had a good bit to bring home. My steak, chips and salad went down a treat. Cindy and staff were cheerful and helpful. I'll be happy to book at Maputaland Lodge again."

  "We stayed at Maputaland Lodge for three nights before travelling into Mocambique. The accommodation was sufficient and clean. The restaurant was terribly slow, and didn't have everything on the limited menu. We asked for water which we were told they didn't have. The pool was green and not inviting at all which was a pity as it was so hot. For a short stay it was fine."

  "Decent accommodation with clean cosy rooms. Not the best location if you are planning on visiting the beach most of the time, however very close to the Spar and Total which was convenient."

  "We enjoyed staying at the lodge, the lady working in the reception was absolutely professional. Not even once did we feel unwelcome. We will definitely revisit the lodge in the near future."

  "On Friday there was some kind of disco on the premises. that was very loud until 22:30. After that there was another music outside the premises playing until 02:00 in the morning.The chalet we booked was booked for three people, but we received the towels just for to, there was no chair for the third on the terrace to have breakfast together. Mosquito net was just on one of the beds.there was an old bread in the bread box when we arrived. staff was helpful and friendly."

  "It was the most unwelcome I felt in a long time visiting a lodge. The service from the reception side was unfriendly, thinking they do u a favour. Will never stay there again. And the maintenance on the outside as well as the pool is terrible."
