Hoeka Toeka Farm Cottage

Hoeka Toeka Farm Cottage is a self-catering farm cottage that can accommodate up to eight guests and makes for an excellent breakaway destination from the busy city life. Situated on the peaceful Witrand Farm with its 19th century history, guests can enjoy the fresh air and be one with nature. Witrand Farm is situated 10 km north of Koster and is only a 60-minute drive from Sun City and Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Hoeka Toeka is also within easy driving distance of a shop, take away, restaurants, shopping mall, cinema, and a golf course.

The neat and clean self-catering unit features two bedrooms, one bathroom, an open-plan lounge and dining room, kitchen, and a large verandah. The main bedroom contains a double bed and a bunk bed, while the second bedroom contains two single beds. The lounge and dining area contains a bunk bed and a TV, and DStv is available with guests' own decoder and smart card. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a fridge-freezer, a stove with an oven, a microwave, kettle, and toaster.

Hoeka Toeka also offers a swimming pool and an entertainment lapa with a barbecue for guests' use. Firewood is available on request, as is a cleaning service at an additional fee. Activities on the Witrand Rarm include bird watching, hiking, swimming at the dam, and catch and release fishing. Guests are also welcome to bring their own quad bikes.

"Jeanette is such a lovely hostess and welcomed us with a nice smile. Her husband provided us with a nice fire to sit next to and I forgot my DStv antenna wire and he helped me at once. This place is so nice and clean and the old wooden floors and furniture adds such warmth to this house. I enjoyed going to the dam with the dogs and although I did not catch any fish, it was peaceful and quiet. This place has a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool. If you want to relax, this is the place."
