Shammah Game Lodge

Shammah Game Lodge is an exclusive game lodge offering accommodation for groups of 10 guests or more on a 720-hectare game farm located between Rustenburg and Koster in the North West Province. Shammah Game Lodge is also an ideal venue for a conference or wedding, being just two hours drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Accommodation is offered in Executive Rooms and Standard Rooms. All of the rooms are en-suite and spacious, with lovely views. The warm atmosphere in our 40-seater dining room complements the food and wine served here, and we are known for our perfectly barbecued steaks, excellent food and wine, and warm hospitality.

There are many other facilities that can be utilized on the premises, some of which include a large boma, braai area, bar counter, pool area, and helicopter pad. Each facility is structured to serve optimal comfort, functionality and convenience to our guests. We also have a modern, fully equipped bar which opens up onto a huge veranda forming part of a boma fire and braai area, and there is a lovely pool close by for those warm summer days.

In addition, we have approximately 15 species of antelope on the farm including giraffe, eland, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, kudu, waterbuck, nyala, impala, blesbok, duiker, steenbok, bush buck, zebra, warthog, and bush pig. Carnivores on the farm include leopard, caracal, jackal and brown hyena. We have identified more than 85 bird species on the farm, and monkeys, squirrels and musseljaatkat can also be seen on game drives. Activities on the farm include sunrise and sunset game drives, quad biking and bush walking trails.
