Eendracht Hotel

Situated in historic Dorp Street, in the core of the oldest part of Stellenbosch, this village hotel is within walking distance of more than 60 excellent restaurants and coffee shops, all the major museums, more than six art galleries, three theaters and the soccer, athletic and rugby sports grounds.

We offer 12 luxurious rooms which are all en-suite with 100 percent cotton linen, down or silk-filled duvets, writing bureaus with computer points and all the usual luxuries. Some of the unexpected luxuries include a spa bath and high speed wireless Internet throughout the property. In keeping with the established standards which you would expect from Eendracht, we have added another building. The self-catering house is a 1928 listed house that was restored in its original art deco-style and we offer three self-catering units.

Our coffee bar Koffieklets offers a sumptuous breakfast and some South African delights such as koeksisters, milk tart and boeretroos coffee. Guests can enjoy sundowners in our ladys bar or book our meeting room for that inevitable meeting or two. Eendracht strives to restrict our carbon footprint as far as possible and as such, all Eendrachts lights have aesthetically pleasing energy saver bulbs and we use solar water geysers.

    "We overnighted at Eendracht for a weekend away in Stellenbosch, doing the wine route. The hotel is centrally placed, in easy walking distance of restaurants and cafes. Our room was beautifully appointed with a balcony overlooking the street. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. We will be back."

    "The hotel is in a great location near shops etc. The actual building is nice and we enjoyed the lobby and the breakfast. The pool is a bit small, but I used it. Internet is fast.<div><br /></div><div>The problem was primarily the noise. Due to a lack of AC we had to leave the bathroom window open and this window backed into the parking lot. The noise was not from cars coming or going but we could hear people somewhere in the area shouting loudly until very late. Another problem is that someone (not sure if this is hotel staff or parking garbage attendant) smoked often and we could smell that.<div>These two problems lead us to depart earlier than expected.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>"
