  "Unit was nice, deck would have been nice if not behind another unit ... interference with water in shower was a bummer ... it went from ice cold to too hot all the time.Breakfast was horrible ... 1 slice of burned toast with grated cheese and crumbled feta, greens (@ 8 in the morning), 2 pieces of bacon that had more fat than meat and 1 tiny slice of avocado. Needless to say we Could not eat itFor reasons above ... definitely way overpriced!!!"

  "Clean, neat, quiet, everything you could want and more from a B&B. The highlight was the private breakfast, it was different, delicious and served hot and impeccably.The spa bath was a winner and the linen was luxurious and definitely protected us from the weather elements!"

  "This is an excellent place for a couple romantic gettaway. Quite and peaceful. Enjoyed the breakfast by the verandah, friendly staff and host Eliz. Chalet was very clean and serviced daily. No doubt we will be going back again."

  "This was a suprising find in Krugersdorp - overlooking the game park and really far from the madding crowd. Very well appointed cottages with great beds and a brilliant bath. Breakfast was fine but often a little cold and perhaps should be served on little burners."

The pricing is also fair for the family unit. <br/><br/>I suggest they consider building a medium sized meeting room for small groups. There is poor signage of the venue from all entrance points from the two main routes to Ventersdorp i.e. R 24 and N 14"

  "We spent six nights at Rocky Aloe, and would highly recommend it. Marcus and Elize were extremely helpful and kind. When they realized how much luggage we had they upgraded us to the cottage. They really made us feelat home and treated us like their personal friends. The breakfast was great - a different surprise each day and beautifully presented. The staff also were very pleasant and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and Marcus took the time to give us a personal tour. Would love to return one day."

Then they only realized its a B&amp;B. Then my husband said it is no problem they will arranged transport. On Saturday morning they call us for early breakfast because they are on their way out. After 12 they want to arrange a lift to nearby Cafe.......Sorry we don't do transport if not pre-arrange (driver wasn't booked so he gets weekend off). All our guests booked for a private getaway sowe don't disturb them from our side.   "The room was beautiful and I would have loved to stay there longer BUT I really wish an air-con and bug repellents were organised before hand. It was a summer night so it was so hot we had to open a window(no air-con) and the mosquitoes kept us up all night-never slept at all.Ants and spiders on the floor and in the bathtub I felt like I needed to wear my shoes in the shower. This is a real pity as the service we received, the food and the room was really nice. The bugs just made me want to run home. The shower also doesn't get hot enough...when I got home the first thing I did was have a nice hot shower. Get an air-con, a bug exterminator and a Geezer that works and I would recommend this place in a heart beat!"

  "Pros: We had a great time, the room was 5 stars and very well decorated with quality designs. Ideal for a romantic getaway, we didn't need to go anywhere. Cons: With that said, the pool was not clean so we couldn't swim. Like we planned and as for the breakfast, what is breakfast without eggs?"

  "I really don't like the way breakfast is served in take-away plastic. Unappetizing and bad for the planet. Breakfast our first morning was really mediocre (soggy bread sandwiches, not so fresh muffins). The second day was much better - fresh quiche and muffins. Otherwise pleasant enough."

  "What a pleasant surprise - little cottages nestled together next to a game conservancy. The Honeymoon suite was lovely, spacious and well equipped. The free-standing spa bath was a winner! The breakfasts were such an enjoyable pleasure every morning and the staff were pleasant, friendly and unobtrusive in going about their servicing of the room. Being surprised by an array of antelope, zebras and giraffe at the watering hole throughout our stay, made the experience exponentially better. We loved every minute and felt really sad leaving after our 3 nights. LOVED IT and we will most certainly go back. We can highly recommend this as a fantastic romantic break-away!"
