Cunningham Cottage

The Cunningham Cottage is located along a rivulet sourced from the The Eye, a natural spring that runs part of its course through the property. This phenomenon delivers 20 million litres of water daily to the town of Kuruman and through the years it has never ceased in capacity.

They say, "The ornament of our guest house is the people who grace it". Your hosts, Gert and Bernice Kotze look forward to meeting you. The stone cottage has nine en-suite rooms, decorated with care and comfort in mind and built around the main house with individual private entrances. We offer a full breakfast English and continental breakfast and for your convenience and lunch packs on request. Safe parking is available on the premises.

A place of interest near Kuruman would be the White and Roaring Sands Nature Reserve, where the sand roars when it is dry. Kuruman, also known as the Oasis of the Kalahari, lies on the main route between Gauteng, Namibia and Cape Town via Upington. This is a part of South Africa is a medley of unspoilt beauty to experience.

"We stayed at Cunningham Cottage for one night on the way to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and then on the way back. Kuruman is a good place to stop in order to break up the long journey. Bernice and Gert were fabulous hosts and very helpful. We had a delicious breakfast on the way and a packed lunch each for the journey.<div><br /></div><div>Bernice made us packed breakfasts on the way back as we needed to leave very early. They were ready and in our rooms when we arrived which was very kind.<div><br /></div><div>We had rooms 1 and 2 which are inter-leading rooms and which are both beautifully decorated. Cunningham Cottage is in a quiet street close to the main road but far enough away to be peaceful.</div></div><div><br /></div><div>Thank you for a wonderful stay.</div><div><br /></div>"
