Safari Travelodge accommodation consists of twenty air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

The rooms can definitely be described as rustic luxury, rustic luxury but comfortable. The fact that a lot of emphasis is placed on the ease and comfort of our guests is evident from the fact that each room has its own private entrance, covered parking, a bar fridge, TV with DStv and coffee/tea facilities. We want our guests to get the room that suits them the best. So please take the time to go through our room descriptions to avoid disappointment. We strive to have all our guests leave with a smile.

We believe in a honest approach with our guests and that is why we have separate categories for our rooms.

Safari Travelodge's discreetly elegant function venue is one of the most popular places for small functions due to the fact that catering and dcor are included in the packages offered. The air-conditioned conference venue can accommodate up to 80 delegates and is also equipped with a backup power generator.

"Pretty but a little strange"

"The place is beautiful and clean. It is also not in the middle of the town and is therefore amazing. The town itself is very dirty, and busy, so it was great that our destination wasn't in the middle of the town. There was, however, no table to sit at outside. There were also no chairs and nothing else to do. We had to sit on the floor when we were braaing and when we ate. Otherwise, we would just be expected to sit in the room and do nothing. The place was wonderful except for the fact that it is missing some important things such as convenience when wanting to spend time outside the room.<br />"

"The room was okay for just one night but we found the place very run down. At first sight the room looked fine and the aircon was a welcome relief. On closer inspection the room was quite dirty and the towels smelt dusty. There was only 1 chair for 4 us.<div>It was advertised that there was a restaurant but when I asked apparently that was closed down a while ago. Wouldn't go ago again.<br /><div><br /></div></div>"

"We stayed on two occasions at Safari Travelodge going to and back from Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The first time we got a big room with large toilet/shower and a good private outside place. The second time with the same booking we got a small rondavel. It was not so clean, it showed traces of having been cleaned a long time ago and then left unused. There was no outside sitting area, wich we would have liked since we came quite early in the day.<div>So it gets the rating acceptable but no more than that.</div><div><br /></div><div>Jan & Katarina, Sweden</div>"

"We had a great stopover. The room was well furnished, clean and neat. The en-suite bathroom with shower was nice, with plenty hot water. We were warmly welcomed by Bakang who showed us to our room. We had a nice stay."

"Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is ok, but not great. Would in future rather not pay for breakfast and have breakfast at a coffee shop. I selected this provider above others based on the fact that they advertise WiFi as included. Not only do you have to pay to get access to the WiFi, the signal is not available in all rooms. I see this as false advertising an something they need to address."

"Rooms has all the necessary items expected from an overnight stay, would just like to recommend that soap/shampoo be placed in the bathrooms. Food in the restaurant was good."

"Unfortunately did not enjoy stay at all: shared room with cockroach, spider, mosquitos and uncountable ants, which took over pizza we had to buy as the advertised restaurant was closed. Everything was very basic, no effort made to make stay more pleasant. The bathroom was dark and dingy and the black towels did not help. Must I go on?"

"Safari Travelodge gave us everything we needed. Spacious room, comfortable bed and it was clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend it for a overnight stay."
