  • "Great time."

  • "Disappointing!"

    11 January 2016

"Very disappointed in the state of the house on arrival. The place was dirty, old dirty sheets on the beds. The braai stank and was absolutely filthy. The gas pipes are broken in the braai. The DSTV didn't work. Previous peoples meat dishes still in the oven. Just a horrible experience on arrival.<div>After a discussion with the owner, the place certainly did get cleaned a little better, but I personally wouldn't go back again. Not what I expected of an upmarket estate.</div><div><br /></div>"

  • "Not as advertised and not up to standard"

    06 July 2013

"1. Pool was dirty2. Washing machine was covered in rat feces. The rats are also in the ceiling.3. There was no electricity on arrival.4. By "king size bed in the main bedroom", he means 2 single beds pushed together, you and your spouse may as well sleep in separate beds.5. By WIFI he means WIFI at the clubhouse. 6. The grill is rusted. I'm usually prepared to put a regular grill on top of someone's old gas grill but there's no way I'd prepare a meal using that grill.7. There are no "partial sea views" as advertised. The owner blames the garden maintenance crew for this, and Pierre for the pool etc, he takes no responsibility for his property.I would rate the place 4 stars like the previous reviewer if it was better maintained as perhaps it was in previous years, and advertised correctly."
