Shengeza Lake Lodge

Shengeza Lake Lodge offers three rustic bush cottages set among indigenous trees, and 4 electric camp sites located in Kwangwanase.

The first unit is a lovely cottage with three bedrooms, a private bathroom and a fully fitted kitchen. The second unit is a log cabin with two bedrooms and an outside bathroom with a shower. The first two units share an enclosed entertainment deck area with lounge, dining, and braai facilities available. Guests can also relax in the Boma, with seating areas and a fire pit, and wood fired pizza oven.
The third unit is a seperate unit, with fully fitted bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom, deck with own braai facility. This unit has a TV with full DSTV.

All bedrooms in all units have aircons.

"The place was nice and clean to stay. The caretaker was very helpfull. They clean the place everday ,that was good for me. We got lost a lot,but luckely the owner gave us the correct directions to Shengeza lodge. I only need a microvawe and hanging closet."

"Every night the fire, the lights and torches were lit before we got back and the friendly dog was there to welcome us back from a tiring day on the boat on the lakes or snorkelling at the Kosi Bay mouth or driving to remote beaches in our 4x4. We felt safe in the fenced camp and it was great to hear the hippos and frogs from the Shengeza lake at night. Great birdlife just outside the gate. Simple and clean accommodation over 5 bedrooms but a great bar and firepit . The kids could run around and play darts to their heart content. The open air hot shower was the highlight of our day (if the sun was strong enough to heat the water sufficiently. We had a fabulous week there."

"If u lookn to be in the wild then this is a good place to be.would suggest better lighting inside the chalet though.Mr poly is an awsome host at the chalet.Definitely needs more road signs from the main rd both going and returningCuttlery needs an upgrade and linen."

"Die lodge laat jou vanaf die eerste oomblik voel om jou skoene uit te skop en te ontspan. Die lodge het al die basiese items, maar is skoon en netjies en die personeel is baie vriendelik. 'n Mens voel sommer lus om hier te bly. Wil definitief weer teruggaan indien ons weer in die omgewing is."
