Lavender Cottage Ladybrand

Lavender Cottage is a charming sandstone guest house situated in the quaint, historical town of Ladybrand in the Free State. Ladybrand is just 15 km from the bustling commercial town of Maseru in Lesotho and 135 km from Bloemfontein. At Lavender Cottage, our motto is Luxury you can afford.

Accommodation is offered in three rooms, namely Lavender Suite, Rose Room and White Daisy, each with its own special cottage character. All of the en-suite rooms feature wooden floors, electric blankets, top quality linen, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a TV with selected DStv channels, with hair-dryers available on request.

A delicious home-cooked breakfast is offered as a bed and breakfast option, and each room also has a fully equipped beautifully decorated kitchenette for self-catering if required. In addition, laundry and barbecue facilities are available for guests' convenience. Dinner can be arranged at an optional extra at R95.00 including refreshment.

"We were rather disappointed when the host wasn't at the premises to open for us upon arrival at 15h00. We had been riding our MTB since 5am to Lavender Cottage. We waited a few hours and we were then let in. There was no water available at Lavender for drinking or for showering until after 18h30 when Nico arrived."
