Lihlomo Guest House is located in the sleepy border town of Ladybrand. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and lays close to the Lesotho border.

All rooms overlook a man-made pond and most enjoy lovely views of the surroundings. Needless to say that only the best fittings and furnishings are used. Plasma screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars, microwaves, DVD and CD players and work desks with PC modem points and free Internet access all come standard.

Our landscaped garden is evergreen, with a variety of wild birds that frequent our tranquil garden. We are 15 km away from Lesotho Maseru border, and are confident that once you have experienced our hospitality, your first stay with us will not be the last.

"Felt that the reception didn't know anything about arrivals or payments to be made. No aircon remote. Bathroom door broken. Hole in ceiling from what looks to be a like a burst geser that wasn't repaired. Bed side lights not working No secure parking. Phone number for establishment doesnt operate Breakfast was however pleasing."

"All in all this was Ok for a one night stopover. It did not start well as the lady at reception did not know we were coming and was not aware that one could book on the internet? As it was Sunday I think we were lucky and the guesthouse was not full so there was a room for us. I don't think my reservation was secure and on a busy day our room may have been let out. The room was clean and the guest house looks great with a nice garden. The breakfast was good, but there is no secure parking and security of the place itself seems not to have been a priority. Not much to do in Ladybrand and most restaurants are shut on Sunday evenings."

"Very clean, comfortable and quiet and nice breakfast. There seemed to be some confusion about the booking as reception said that the room I had booked had already been booked, so we were put in another room."
