  "It seems like the focus is the campsite is the restaurant and bar. Campsite is really run down with very little amenities for campers. No water at the campsite, no hot water in the amenities that night, but there was the next morning at some taps / showers. No toilet rolls or holders in any of the stalls. No lights / hot water at the dish washing area ( I think that is what it was. No - nothing I would recommend."

  "I loved the security at Little Rock Holiday Resort, However the place is too strict, no loud music is allowed at any time of the day, main gate closes at 11 pm so even when you tried to at least go out and have fun outside you are restricted to come back before 11 pm. I was disappointed even by the fact that you need to call when you arrive at the gate for you to get access in the compound, sometimes you wait for a longer period of time while waiting for the gate to be opened. The services at the reception are too slow. Honestly, the management has to work on these areas otherwise only the elderly who like quite places could make use of this place but also their safety has to be considered while waiting at the main gate to get in."

  "Need to train your plumber to repair taps properly. Shower and basin taps need attention. This is cheap and easy to fix. Shower floor needs re-tiling. Other than this, this accommodation was clean and good value for money.The restaurant food is great. Need a breakfast offering."

  "It is located in an amazing natural setting. There is quite a wide range of facilities, although not all seems to be maintained equally. Having to phone for gate to be opened was a bit of a downside."

  "Upon arrival at 17H30 the reception office was closed with no direction sign. A local resident arrived and directed us to the bar round the corner for assistance.It was raining and we waded through mud to a very nice rondawel where we found a nicely printed notice with the rules which also spelled out that the units are checked by a professional on departure.The on site restaurant and service was outstanding and the food was very good.Shock came when we returned to the unit and found that there was no water in the warm water taps in the bathroom. Reporting this we were assured that a plumber would attend to this after eight the next morning. No bath that night and we aimed to leave early the next morning.On entering the main bedroom the one bedside light was not working and upon opening the bedding we found suspicious marks on the bed linen. Luckily the were two more bedrooms with a single bed in each which we then used.Little Rock..... never ever again"

  "Ons het heerlik gebly baie lekker . Vriendelike ontvangs. Ladybrand munisipaliteit kan dalk net meer aandag aan hulle paaie gee. dit was die dorp met die slegste paaie wat ek al gesien het."

  "<p>Our stay was pleasant enough. We were six peoplein a chalet and only 2 towels where provided. There were 2 light bulbs that were blown and no dish cloth to wipe tables.</p><p>The pizza at the bar was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed the walk up the mountain behind the chalets. Staff were friendly.</p>"

  "Hierdie was ons eerste verblyf by Little Rock Holiday Resort en ons het dit vreeslik geniet, die weer het nie altyd saam gespeel nie, Vrydag nag gereen, maar verder was dit aangenaam. Dit is skoon en word goed onderhou en die staff is uiters vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Ons sal definitief nou meer gereeld soontoe gaan, maar eers in die somer.<div>Dankie Little Rock!</div>"

  "The setting is beautiful. The staff friendly and helpful BUT we had people next to us who partied hard and loudly till two in the morning. We loved our little cottage on our stay on the way to Katse Dam. Shower was inaccessible to aged father as it was in bath. Lovely pool. Nice walks. Cottage on the way back was not practical for old Dad. very steep steps to upstairs beds. But the staff helped by giving us a little cottage to help. Both units had nice showers."

  "This is the second or third time we have stayed at Little Rock. It is perfect for our needs, we have contracts in the area from time to time and this works perfectly for my crew and I. Staff are friendly, Pub serves good food after a long days work. There is also ample parking for our bakkies and trailers. We will be back for sure."

  "The resort offers a richness of birdlife and it is wonderful to wake up to the call of the birds. The resort is quiet and ideal for a breakaway from the city rush and ideal for a retreat or a day trail along the hill slope. We really enjoyed it."

  "We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Little Rock. Good price for a place that has all that it has. Beautiful mountain views especially on the top after climbing there! Will definitely consider returning next year."
