Enclosed by the Viervoet Mountain, with the Modderpoort Kop guarding the entrance and the Maluti Mountains in the distance, at the Twin Oaks Guest Farm you will find a haven of tranquility, a place where one can discover the pleasures of solitude and silence.

We offer good old boere hospitality and the beauty of nature to soothe the soul. At Twin Oaks one can kick off the shoes, put on the clothes you only dare to wear in the privacy of your own home, and just relax without any pressure.

Accommodation is offered in the form of four uncluttered units, each with their own private entrance, in the out-of-the-ordinary sandstone farmhouse. All of the units are equipped for self-catering, but meals are also served on prior arrangement.

If in need of a solitary retreat, the caravan hidden in the bush at the foot of the mountain will provide you with absolute privacy. Alternatively go camp high up in the cliff where nature is your only companion.

"We decided to stay at the Twin Oaks Guest Farm during our week long tour on our BMW Adventure motorcycles. What a great place. Kobus was the ultimate host in arranging our dinner and drinks prior to our arrival. We enjoyed a lovely braai on our patio on his farm. Accommodation is really superb with a lot of attention to detail such as a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with fluffy towels a cosy bedrooms. The remoteness of the guest farm adds to the great ambiance. Certainly a future stop over for all of us again, Eugene, Erin and David. "

"The dirt road leading to Twin Oaks Guest Farm is rugged and approximately 10 km long, so it's advisable to travel there with a vehicle having on and off-road capability. The farm is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. A hill behind the main house is easy to climb and provides great views of the area. We enjoyed taking pics at the top. We were generally happy with the accommodation, but due to its location, cellphone signals alternate between very low and non-existent. Wi-fi is available but with weak signals also."
