Convent Hill Lodge B&B

Convent Hill Lodge B&B is situated in Ladysmith, serving as a gateway to the central and northern Drakensberg. The peaks of the mountains form an elegant backdrop to the town, particularly in winter when a light blanket of snow graces its pinnacles.

We offer ten comfortable rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each room consists of air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, DStv, Wi-Fi and a fridge with a bottle of water inside on arrival. Breakfast is included and dinner can be arranged on request.

There are lovely braai facilities in the tranquil garden for some fun social gatherings. The lodge has secure under-cover parking available. We have an on-site guide to arrange tours to the surrounding areas and the Drakensberg.

"We booked the at the Lodge to sleep over for a stop over while traveling to Durban, all with the expectation of the place looking like the website. As we arrived at the Lodge the lady at reception could not speak english which caused a challange to say the least. The rooms did not look like the website described them, they were tiny, had a funny smell im them and our door could not lock from the inside. The Showers were leaking, but one positive was the breakfast. "

"Baie gelukkig met my verblyf. Ek kan oor niks kla nie. Die lodge het 'n mooi afmosfeer. Tuine is netjies en mooi en baie plek om buite te sit. Stil omgewing en naby die hospitaal La Verna. Jean, die bestuurder  het saam met my hospitaal toe gestap en het dit baie waardeer van hom. Die volgende oggend het hy my gehelp met my google map op my selfoon om my pad te vind na Dr Kusche se spreekkamer.  Zandy was so vriendelik en behulpsaam en 'n aanwins vir die Lodge.  Ek het heelwat foto's geneem wat ek geplaas het op hul facebook met Kelly die kat ook in 'n paar van die foto's. Ek sal mense aanmoedig om daar te gaan bly. "
