Indigo Blue Beach House

Indigo Blue is a classic beach house which provides the ideal base for a laid-back holiday. Situated on Sandbaai Beach, the house has its toes in the sand as you can literally walk from the front door out onto the beach.

The shallow and protected lagoon waters are great for kids, with the nearby rock pools providing hours of entertainment. Simply furnished, the house is fully equipped with everything that you might need for a seaside holiday.

Langebaan is a sleepy holiday town and qualifies as one of the best locations in South Africa. Indigo Blue is one of the towns original beach houses. To complete your perfect beach holiday, we provide you with the use of two kayaks; a Fluid Synergy 2 to 3 seater plus a kids Vaya, including paddles. Optional extras include the hire of our semi-rigid, inflatable Balega. If you bring your own boat, you may use the mooring in front of the house. DStv is available; please bring your own smart card.

Various activities are available, including kite surfing, guided kayak trips on the lagoon, deep sea fishing, horse riding and more. Attractions in the area include the West Coast National Park, the West Coast Fossil Park and the Kwa Ttu San Reserve.

Our aim is to keep it as simple as possible, but please let us know if you have special requirements and we will tailor-make a quote to suit you. Indigo Blue is available on a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis. The house sleeps six to eight guests as follows; one-bedroom with double bed, one-bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a third bedroom with two single beds and two pull out mattresses. There are two bathrooms, one with a free-standing bath and hand shower, and one with just a shower.

Bedrooms are equipped with down duvets and pure cotton linen, and all have lagoon views. Bath and beach towels are provided. There are two spacious living areas, of which one is located at the rear of the house and opens onto a wind protected courtyard with a braai area as well as a wooden deck overlooking the beach with a hot and cold outdoor shower. DStv is available; please note that you must bring your own smart card.

Included in the daily rate is a Fluid Synergy sit on top kayak, complete with paddles and buoyancy vests as well as a childs Fluid Vaya kayak. Please bring own life vest.

"What an amazing & magical place!! We spent the whole Easter weekend sitting on the verandah, just watching and listening to the bay!! The house is simple, but has everything you need. We forgot our Smartcard behind, but in the end, who needed TV?? Especially when you have those views to keep you "entertained" -watching the water and the daily activities of the people who live on or near the beach, was just amazing!! We can't wait to go back again and simply did not want to leave.<br />"
