Rockaway

Rockaway is a modern apartment block just 150m from the sea and a short stroll to Margate town with its wide selection of seaside restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the popular Margate beach protected by lifeguards and shark nets and host to seasonal festivities and entertainment.

This ground floor apartment is tastefully appointed and sleeps four guests in two bedrooms sharing a modern bathroom. The sunny main bedroom has a double bed and opens through stacking doors to the patio. The second bedroom has two single beds and open onto a tranquil private courtyard. There are an additional two mattresses available for kids.

The open-plan granite kitchen is fully equipped for day to day cooking and includes a washing machine outside. It looks over a breakfast bar to a comfortably appointed lounge with television, DVD player DStv Easyview bouquet. The lounge and main bedroom open through stacking doors onto a large patio adjoining the lawn. It has dining and seating for six guests, a large gas braai and sea views.

All the doors in the unit are trellis-door protected and there is garage parking for one vehicle. The complex has remote electric gates and there is trailer parking available, but none for additional vehicles. All linen is provided for the beds but please bring your own bathroom and beach towels. The DStv Easyview package is a very limited basic bouquet but you are welcome to bring your own decoder or hire one locally. The unit is not serviced unless by arrangement.
