Chesapeake Bay Self-catering

Chesapeake Bay Self-catering apartments are fully equipped and located in the popular coastal town of Margate. There are two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments consisting of fully equipped kitchens, open-plan living areas and patios with views of the ocean. DStv access is available if guests bring their own smart card.

The apartment is set within a fully secure complex and includes one under-cover parking bay. There is a communal swimming pool and braai area for all guests. It is constructed on a prime beachfront site only metres away from the beach and a five-minute walk from the town centre, providing numerous restaurants, shopping- and entertainment facilities.

"We didn't even get to stay at Chesapeake Bay. The booking was done and confirmed in June. I was contacted at midday on 23/12 informing me that apparently the place has been double booked. The owner apparently had done his own booking as well. We were given alternate accommodation and the agent was very nice and helpful. The money which we paid for Chesapeake Bay was paid to the owner, so surely he was aware of our booking."
