  "I loved the quiteness and not hearing all day traffic noise. You can see the sea from a certain distance and hear the waves. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the hospitality of Marcia and Chantel. They are the 2 beautiful people I come across we bond with them and feels like old family. As for the improvement I have to say no comments as everything was to what I needed to enjoy my stay"

  "I cannot rate the Leisure Bay Self-catering as I did not sleep there but given the service I received from Tanita and Marcia, I will always go there AND WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO TOO.I was on my way driving from Grahamstown to Durban. I had booked and paid for the stay over at Leisure Bay Self-catering in Port Edward. I called at 19:00, still two hours away to let the ladies know that I will be arriving very late. It was then that I discovered that I made a mistake and had booked a wrong date (the following day). The place was fully booked that day which meant that I had no place to stay and was also going to loose my payment for a no show the following day because I was passing through and wasn't going to be around the next day.Marcia and Tanita got on the phone in the middle of the night calling all nearby places until they found a place for me to stay. Not only that, but they paid for the other accommodation so that I was not stranded and didn't loose my money. WHO ELSE WILL BE SO GENEROUS!!! GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU LADIES!!!"

  "Unfortunately sharing a parking bay and an entrance to the cottage with the owners right next door - are certainly not very quiet, private or convenient. The overall look inside could most definitely do with an upgrade. Otherwise really enjoyed our stay and thankful for being able to leave the dogs behind (if we needed to slip out to the shops daily)."

  "Ons het 'n wonderlike 4 nagte gehad en die voorreg om die tyd saam met hierdie Vriendelike mense te deel. Sowaar die huis weg van jou eie. Ons seuntjie en hondjies het dit regtig waar so geniet daar en ons het baie veilig gevoel en nie eendag bekommer nie. Daar is baie mooi strande en baie restaurante en sienswaardighede. 'n plek wat ons verseker weer sal sien."

  "Our family had the most relaxing break, although the weather didn't quite cooperate. Plenty to see and do in Port Edward. The house had a cosy feel, very quiet and private. The host runs a very clean place, lots of little touches that made the place feel just like home. Perhaps some AC wouldn't be amiss, or another fan maybe. It does get quite hot and humid.<br />All round, a great weekend. Will definitely return.<br /><br />Kuziva and Farai<br />"

  "The environment was nice, the place was very clean, the price is affordable. The owner is very friendly.One this I would recommend is that they should have 2 double beds, cause sleeping in two single beds made into a double bed is very uncomfortable.Other than that I enjoyed my stay."

  "We went down specifically to play golf at the Wild Coast Sun and wanted to stay in a self-catering place somewhere close by.LBSC is comfortable, clean and is less than 10 minutes drive from the WCS. We went into Port Edward for dinner at Bobbies on the Beach which is casual dining near the main beach with decent food at reasonable prices."

  "We spent a week at Leisure Bay Self-catering and found everything clean and comfortable. Our hostess, who lives on the property in an adjoining unit, was welcoming and even knitted my 22 month old a soft toy. The sea was about 1.8km away and the beach was superb. We can recommend this spot for a homely holiday!"
