Leisure Retreat is a small, intimate holiday and all year round get-away for a family, groups of people or backpackers passing through. We give you a bright holiday retreat on the Indian Coastline that blends harmoniously with its idyllic surrounds. With loads of space and tranquility; simplicity and casual comfort are key elements of our South Coast Resort. We are self-catering, so you can cook up your own meals or enjoy the excellent restaurants in our area. We have log cabins, houses and a flat to fulfill any need that you have.

Being outdoors is an essential part of our retreat, with big lawns, wild indigenous gardens and a hiking path through our bush. This place is the ultimate hangout for outdoor-living people. People with a passion for nature, bird life and small wild animals. We offer a beautiful mix of sea, garden and mountain vistas. With no TV's you can be rest assured to enjoy the outdoors.

We are within short driving distance of five magnificent swimming beaches. Port Edward, TO Strand, Peter Pan, Leisure Bay and Glenmore. Imagine the tranquility of Leisure Retreat after a day at the beach. Picture a holiday a few minutes from the beach, but in the peace of the countryside where you will feel isolated from the hustle and bustle of holiday makers.

"Our Christmas with extended family was made comfortable by my husband, myself and one adult son being able to stay nearby at Leisure Retreat in a chalet with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and deck shared between the 3 of us. Clean beds, a gas heated shower and some handy catering equipment, helped by quiet supportive staff at an affordable rate was just what we needed. We'd taken our own electric fans which helped us cope with the coastal humidity but forgotten bath soap and toothpaste which we were able to buy at Port Edward Spar."
