  • "Amazing and Relaxing !"

    20 June 2009

"Very nice lodge. Excellent food, and the service was really great. Extremely nice people. We even got massage in the lodge organized at the last minute. Strongly recommend this very nice place. Will for sure return when lions and elephants will attend !"

  • "Very hospitable staff. "

    25 March 2008

"They were attentive and exceedingly helpful. We had a 10 month toddler with us, and nothing was an effort for the staff. There is a lack of game on the farm (or they weren't visible), but otherwise an enjoyable, relaxing stay."

  • "Very good"

"The stay was very good. "

  • "Great establishment"

    08 January 2008

"Everything was very wonderful, great establishment, friendly and very welcoming. The only disappointing thing was the the game drive we only got to see one side of the farm and not many animals were on the side that we saw. I take my hat off to the cook, very tasty and nice food. She is really awesome. Big ups... a definite 11 out of 10."

  • "Stay at Bobidi"

    10 April 2007

"We had a truly wonderful 3 night stay at Bobidi. We were well looked after and spoilt in many ways. We were privileged to meet and sit around the fire with the Bushmen - an experience that we will never forget. We will definitely be back."

  • "Nice stay"

    30 October 2006

"We enjoyed being in Bobidi lodge, nice people, relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the bush very much despite the giraffe and buffalo being "folded and packed away ". we hope you will have rain soon. We surely will be back"

  • "Truly excellent"

    10 August 2006

"We greatly enjoyed our visit to Safarilands. The accommodation was very good, and the staffat the Lodge were truly excellent. Both Maria and Martha worked so hard to ensure that we enjoyed every moment we were there. But what really made the visit special were the activities arranged and supervised by Bartus. He worked non stop to make sure that our visit was filled with unforgettable experiences. His knowledge of the area and its' wildlife was wonderful, and everything was done with a sense of humour! He is an amazing person. The walk and the evening with the bushmen were, for me, particularly memorable. What Johannes is doing there is so valuable. All in all, a most enjoyable and memorable holiday. "

  • "Good break-away venue."

    17 July 2006

"Good break-away venue. Reasonable accommodation - one room without TV for 3 days in spite of promises. Food good but not at five star level - reminds of a good set menu at a 3 star country hotel. Good activities i.t.o. game drives, etc. Avaiability of other activities as per brochure not as depicted/offered but not organised e.g. Bushmen,Bush meals, Horse Riding, etc. Overall a 3,5 star experience but thoroughly enjoyed."

  • "Bushveld experience"

    02 July 2006

"How wonderful it was to take in fresh unpolluted air early in the morning! It was a lovely experience being on the lodge!"

  • "Review of guesthouse"

    01 July 2006

"The overall experience was good- Very relaxing atmosphere, tranquil surroundings-Can get very lonely too. Animals roaming free visible from the guesthouse, in-fact these were the most animals we saw throughout the weekend. Accommodation was great, service at the camp great too. Didnt appreciate the lack of braaing and swimming facilities which we reserved for the main-house guests!"

  • "Spoiled to relax"

    18 April 2006

"We will be visiting again, the overall experience was great, few hickups (no horses, no boat on the river), but in total it was what we were looking for on our 15th wedding anniversary. Thanks"

  • "Experience of a life time"

    15 February 2006

"Thanx for a wonderful experience. The rest was defnitely much needed.Everyone was helpful. The only thing I would like to see improve is the contact with reception. There is no way except to ask the helpers to get something to drink or eat, and then it was only delivered with dinner. But we will back and we will want to see and do even more."

  • "Gerry Lemmer on Bobidi"

    31 January 2006

"Dear AllThis was as perfect a weekend as one could hope for. The accommodation was superb as was the service. A special mention in praise of Bertie (guide) and Natasha. Both went out of their way to make life pleasant and enjoyable. The food was excellent - just too much for an oldie like myself.Suffice to say we intend repeating the visit in the not too distant future.Regards & best wishes,Gerry Lemmer & Rena van den Bergh"

  • "Bobidi"

    06 January 2006

"Friendly staff who go out of their way to assist. Andre and his wife really try very hard to please, however there are numerous areas where there is room for improvement. I feel alot of attention needs to be given to the little details."

  • "New Years in the bushveld "

  • "Recent Visit"

    12 November 2005

"The accommodation was very nice except for the bath which was in need of replacement , It was rather offputting, and when we arrived there was no hot water. The food was excellent but not luxury standard. I would visit again but only to meet the bushmen. The game viewing was only average. We enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome."
