Buitenhof Gasteplaas offers comfortable rooms in a farm environment, ideal for families, couples and business travellers visiting the Lichtenburg area.

The rooms are all comfortably furnished with all bedding and towels provided. Guests can enjoy self-catering facilities including a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge and countertop stove with hotplates. Each room has an en-suite bathroom. Room 1 and 5 got their own tv in the room and aircons for all rooms. Fans are available to cool the air in summer. Rooms 2,3,4 only have tv in the dining room.

Buitenhoff Gasteplaas is situated a mere 8 km outside of Lichtenburg and offers a quiet retreat. This historic diamond mining town has numerous museums including the Lichtenburg Diggings Museum, which covers the alluvial diamond diggings in and around the town between 1925 and 1935.

"Tiles by shower fell out while showering shower spraying against glass very difficult to shower no soaps not worth a rating terrible can't believe safari would even think of displaying this guest house not even sure will ever choose any accommodation on safari thought you had a standard Would never stay there again"

"Place was neat and clean, except for the kettle that had bugs inside. Booked for three adults, only one double bed and a cot like bed in the room. We had to phone to request for an extra blanket, but was met with a rude attitude. The DSTV was not working. Upon asking for assistance, we were told that they do not know anything about it."
