  • "Very pleasant and friendly helpful staff"

    24 August 2017

"I was only concerned at first because I could not find the guesthouse. I was alone and never been in that area before. My GPS was telling me I had arrived but there was no indication of the street no. 44 or that it was a guesthouse. It took me half an hour of asking people to eventually realise that I was right there where the GPS said but did not recognise the place. However the owner was a sweetheart and I was made very welcome."

  • "Nice guest house"

    03 August 2010

"We stayed at the 44 on Livingstone guest house for a couple of nights during the World Cup. The young staff were extremely friendly. They even held our breakfast way past the hour (which was very good). The rooms are nice and clean. We were surprised by the electric blankets which made our sleep much more comfortable in the chilly weather. They also helped us arrange a driver to pick up our bags at the airport to go straight to a match. Although it is not within walking distance to any ... more"

  • "Good guest house"

    15 July 2010

"Overall this was a good guest house. Location and staff were good. The owners were very helpful in helping us get some food after a late arrival. I was slightly disappointed that I was charged for four brandy drinks, it was a self service system where I did possibly have two doubles however for the price of the guest house I think that I should only have been charged for two singles."
