Petit Paradis

Petit Paradis is a beautiful French Provencal stone cottage set in a private indigenous garden overlooking Llandudno beach. The cottage was lovingly built with exceptional attention to detail, including stone floors, high-beamed ceilings, antique light fittings, French wrought iron work, and wooden shutters.

The cottage comprises a double bedroom with French doors leading onto a private gravel patio with sea and mountain views and a breakfast table shaded by tall Proteas. Features include a bathroom with a bath and shower tiled in travertine, a lounge with kitchenette, and a covered sundowner patio with magnificent sea views.

The lounge and kitchenette are fully equipped with a TV, fridge, convection microwave, hot plates, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. There is a stone table and chairs on the patio where you can sip your cocktails at sunset, as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while overlooking the ocean.

The beautifully furnished bedroom comprises a queen-size bed with a down duvet, French antique linen and a cotton quilt.

Fluffy white bath towels as well as beach towels and an umbrella are also provided. In addition, the Victorian roll-top bath has wonderful mountain and garden views through sash windows.

The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden planted with indigenous plants, as well as an assortment of cooking herbs, which guests are encouraged to use.

  • "Lovely house and lovely setting"

    02 May 2017

"The house was absolutely adorable. we felt that everything was so well thought out--we didn't lack for a thing!. Vicky was such a gracious, accommodating and easy-going host. The location was perfect in terms of access to the beach (short walk), and in terms of visiting the sites of Cape Town. City center is 20 minutes away, Hout Bay and Camps Bay are about 5 minutes away. Constantia Wine Farms are 15 minutes away, and Chapman's Peak drive is 10 minutes away, leading to the Cape of Good Hope and Simon's Town."

"Petit Paradis is all it promises to be and more. The gardens surrounding the cottage are beautiful and the cottage itself warm and inviting. Vicky was welcoming when I arrived and the lovely flowers she left in each room was such a lovely touch. I highly recommend Petit Paradis and will definitely be returning."
