"There was really nothing to love! The room, which was small was inadequately equipped - no mirror near a plug to low dry your hair and no facility in the bathroom where the only mirror was. No glass provided in room or in the bathroom. Shampoo holder totally empty. Bed linen had been slept in before or not properly washed- found blood on the sheets on one bed. Only one hanger in the cupboard for two people. No table or shelf to put toilet bag on etc. We had everything on the floor. Bath mat filthy. Coffee provided is cheapest available on the market. Hot water bottle cover had not been washed for a long time. Kettle was stained. TV was old and wires just hung from it. Beds VERY uncomfortable. Everything needed a wash and good clean. No attention to detail. The breakfast was given more attention - by that time we had voiced our unhappiness."

"The stay was very pleasant. We got a warm and friendly welcome when we got there and all our needs were look after. After coming back late from out wedding we had a remote to get access the guest house without waking anyone up. "<p>My crew and I recently stayed over at Adelpragt Guest House after a dcor setup at the Cowshed. From the get-go, we felt at home. I spoke with Kotie ahead of time and warned her of our late check in which wasn't a problem for her. On arrival at the gate, a friendly voice welcomed a weary crew to the establishment. As the gate slid open we were met with a stately residence one would say.Fabulous garden setting, trimmed lawns and of course the resident Dalmation!Parking under cover which was great as we carry dcor stock with us. Slick check in, all keys ready and waiting. Kotie took us to view all the rooms I had booked and as we had a married couple with us, they got a fabulous room which we all dubbed the "honeymoon suite". Spacious, spotless and with lots of character... Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Everyone decided to have a nap as we had left Joburg at 05h00 on the day... then the thunderstorm broke, and the rain bucketed down. While we were napping through the storm, the staff from the venue placed sand doorstops in front of our doors to make sure the rain didn't come into our rooms. Hats off the staff member who did that for us. After a really good rest, breakfast the next morning felt like you were at your best friend's house ... waited on, treated to a basic breakfast made with lots of care. Tummies full, a happy crew left Adelpragt with plenty of energy for the retrieval of dcor from the Cowshed venue. My recommendation is that you consider this home from home when you are attending a wedding at the Cow Shed or you have business in the area. You won't be disappointed, we surely weren't! </p>"

"It was with surprise that we drove into this beautiful homestead (smacking of the Boland wine lands).<br> The unit was well equipped for part self catering and the bed was large and comfortable with gracious furnishings. My husband would have preferred a shower. But good hospitality and the breakfast most plentiful and cheerfully served. A recommendable stay over!"
