  "Beautiful guest farm in a remote part of Mpumulanga. Charming buildings, lovely room and scenery of mountains. <br /><br /><p>very unfortunate experience with the manager's dogs which were aggressive and the big dog attacked me and I got a nasty bite on the buttock. the next day the dogs charged me again but I escaped being bitten again. Jaco was apologetic and made excuses and tried to justify their attack. I left the next morning because I did not feel safe.<strong></strong></p>"

  "Buffelsvley is located in a magnificent setting with beautiful lawns, and mountains as a back drop - worth the rather frustrating ride through the road works on the mountain pass from Lydenburg. The rooms were very comfortable with magnificent views. The young staff were helpful and pleasant and allowed us the special favour of accommodating our geriatric dog who had recently had an op and had to accompany us! A very pleasant overnight stop."

  "Ons het die voorreg gehad om naweek op Buffelvley deur te bring. Die gasvryheid van die personeel het ons dadelik welkom laat voel. Ons het dadelik na ons kameras gegryp om die ongelooflik natuurskoon van die direkte omgewing af te neem. Die kamers was 'n aangename verrassing met pragtige ou meubels. Die restaurant het heerlike kos en ons het almal baie lekker geeet. Ons kan die vakansieplaas aanbeveel veral aan mense wat van rustigheid en die natuur hou."

  "Die gasteplaas was vir ons 'n aangename verrassing. Die natuurskoon was ongelooflik! Die gastehuis self was pragtig, skoon en het ons verwagtings oortref. Die restaurant se kos was heerlik en die personeel baie gaaf en vriendelik. Ons sal beslis weer kom en die gasteplaas aanbeveel. Dit is so rustig daar dat 'n naweek heeltemal te kort is!"

  "Incredible setting with mountains all round, orchards, a fresh spring etc. The rooms were spotless and very upmarket without sacrificing the rustic country appeal one expects at a Guest Farm. The restaurant/bar attached provided a fantastic meal - the special steak they did and the calamari were delicious! Really friendly staff from the cook, waitrons and management couple. We will be back for a longer stay next time!"

  "Thank you for a very pleasant stay at Buffelsvlei. We arrived shortly after seven and were still received with friendly helpful staff. They made us feel at home immediately and we were escorted to our room. The room was neat, clean and practical for the night. The restaurant personnel was friendly and helpful and the food was of good quality. On arrival at the restaurant the next morning our table was set already. The breakfast was of the best breakfasts I had in a long time. Thank you again Buffelsvlei, we only have good memories of this evening."
