"We enjoyed or stay and will return"
"We loved to sit and watch the animals on our doorstep. And the house is very comfortable."
"We loved the fact that the wildlife comes so close. It was such a comfortable stay"
"Lovely place, spacious and neat."
"I just want to thank Leonie and team for the brilliant service that we received when staying at Twiga Lodge! especially the birthday gift that was so unexpected, and really appreciated! It's a wonderful Lodge, with a watering hole right in front, we saw animals less than 10 meters from us, the place is beautiful and comfortable, with everything that you need! We really really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back!"
"Didn't see as many animals as we had hoped but we had a wonderful stay thank you !!"
"I can highly recommend Twiga Lodge for a great time in the bush with family and friends. It is private, comfortable and very well equipped: the kitchen (more than enough cutlery and crockery), laundry (washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher), bedrooms (choiceness bedding), three bathrooms (good quality towels) as well as a spacious living area with good, comfortable furniture. The braai-area and splash pool adds to it. What a wonderful experience to sit on the patio and see various animals coming to the watering hole throughout the day. Surely a memorable time! We'll be back soon."
"The only downside about it is that the traffic noise from the main road was quite loud."
"Twiga Lodge is a fantastic place. The perfect spot to wind down amongst the animals of Africa within 5 star accommodation."
"Thank you Twinga Lodge for a memorable stay. From the booking to the check out, all communication was smooth. On our first night the elephants came to drink water out of the splash pool, what a experience!Loved every moment of our stay!"
"A fantastic place totally exceeded expectations. Would definitely book again I have already recommended to family who intend to book in the near future"
"We had our annual Ladies Weekend at Twiga Lodge and it was awesome. Everything you need is there. Everything is exactly where it needs to be. It is secluded for privacy and feels like you are just the only people there. We did not see as many animals at the watering hole, but was still amazing. The pool is just the right size for it not to be too cold and to sit and relax in. There is just one thing that would take it over the top, maybe a dishwasher. Once a year a mommy just wants to chill out of everyday normal chores... just a suggestion. Absolute stunning place, we loved every single minute of it! So much space and openness. It was clean and neat. We will definitely recommend this place. Thank you so much!"
"Very nice stay, would recommend to all.<p></p>"
"We had such s great time at Twiga Lodge. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by 8 giraffes at the Lodge's watering hole. The Lodge is private, comfortable and well equipped, and is frequented by giraffes, nyala, zebras, and warthogs. On our last morning 14 buffalo pitched up as we had breakfast on the patio! It was awesome! We will visit again soon!"
"Our stay at Twiga Lodge was so relaxing, so great to be so close to Jhb so it was a quick drive there and we felt like we were far, far away. We also spent half a day in the hot baths at Warmbaths which also added to our relaxing time. The facilities and amenities at Twiga were more than sufficient and I'd highly recommend it. Thank you.<br />"
"Whilst we enjoyed the privacy of Twiga Lodge, our stay was rather spoiled by the noise of traffic, which started early in the morning and continued until well after dark. When one goes to a game reserve you expect to hear nothing but the sounds of nature! There is nothing worse than sitting in the bush but hearing motor vehicles roaring by!<div>On a positive note, we had daily visits from families of warthogs, Nyalas, a female ostrich and one visit by five giraffe.</div><div>Twiga Lodge was reasonably well equipped but for the price I expected to find a dishwasher and washing machine but did not, which meant we had to do all the washing of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery etc by hand!<br /><div><br /></div></div>"
"Absolute peace and quiet! Fantastic outside space... feeling completely rejuvenated by being submerged in the bush! Ideal travelling time from Johannesburg (the trip home doesn't undo all the good work made by the break away). Great facilities and kitchen appliances."
"The lodge has all the requirements for a family break away with no disruptions and all the wild life on your doorstep! Giraffe, Nyala, Rooibok, Zebra and warthog at the waterhole in front of the patio!"
"I had the most relaxed time there, the animals virtually come to your doorstep. It's quiet and peaceful. Its' lovely and I would go back anytime."
"Ideal self-catering bush lodge."
