  • "Great overnight stay"

    23 April 2017

"Two of us stayed in the rondawel. We didn't plan on a big adventure holiday, just an overnight stop, something different to the usual BnB. Well, the place far exceeded expectations, and it became the highlight of our trip. Hosts Adriaan and Angela were warm, helpful, the dinner and breakfast hit the spot just right, and their passion for what they do and their love of the land was so evident. For an off-grid "backpacker", it was very comfortable, clean, and better than the 6 or 8 backpackers I've travelled through in SA and overseas. The walk to the main house for the lavatory didn't bother us. Rather, we appreciated the majesty of the night sky undisturbed by street lights! Cellphone reception was the best signal we got comparing to the previous week spent in the Drakensberg and KZN. Shower was hot. Zipline over the falls was exciting and the natural surroundings beautiful. I'm hooked now, and hope to be back for more."
