"We loved everything about our stay, the staff were great and very friendly, the food was top class, and our game driver Franco was the tops!"

"Staff warm welcoming. It's not about the place but the staff that made my stay wonderful. Great wildlife, food perfect, amazing environment to relax and sooths the soul and mind"
"Placed on ridge like pearsl, each house has a beautiful view down to the plain. Very experienced and caring tour guide, twice a day game drive with sundowner, a place to stay longer. One of the few community owned lodges - support the locals !"
"Good place. Staff very nice and the rangers are really good. May be a bit too nice for us (not used to so much attention which suggests need for tips)."
"We did enjoy the whole weekend."
"Friendly welcoming staff & knowledgeable guides. Well laid out, comfortable and tidily kept chalets. We hope this proves a great co-operative success for for the village of Balete Ba Lekgophung. Ke a le boga."
"We had a most wonderful and relaxing weekend. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and nothing was too much effort. The food was delicious. It was my second visit to the lodge and I must say there have been great improvements in service. Thanks for a great weekend - we will definitely be back."
"My medical mission colleague and I had a terrific 3 day/2 night visit at Buffalo Ridge. Staff were so pleasant and attentive - top quality in every sense of the term.My only suggestion would be to somehow advertise the communal ownership of the lodge. We felt even better about 'indulging' ourselves at the luxurious lodge when we learned that it was 'owned' by the neighboring village. It made us feel like we were really 'helping' the community."
