"My wife and I spent our anniversary at Madikwe River Lodge in May 2014 and had a wonderful time. Our Guide( Fortune) made our game drives very special and not only did we see the "Big 5" we also were treated to an amazing sunset sighting of a pack of wild dogs and a morning encounter with 4 cheetah. The highlight was an early morning visit by a male and female leopard within 20 metres of our room! The staff at Madikwe River Lodge spoilt us and made our anniversary evening one we will always remember. I would recommend this lodge to anyone who wants to be close to nature and enjoy warm hospitality - well done to the entire Madikwe River Lodge Team!"

"The location was excellent, the staff were extremely attentive, and the food abundant. The morning and evening tours were just amazing; informative and authoritative, and the wildlife was plentiful. It was an education watching the guides track and find lions and rhinos and virtually anything. We have no complaints whatsoever."
