  • "Absolute tranquility."

    30 September 2019

"We stayed over for 1 night only and booked for a rustic bush cabin, but were upgraded to a private 3 bedroom chalet with all imaginable luxuries, like air conditioning, premium DSTV, uncapped WIFI and private swimming pool. Our host Willem really went out of his way to make us feel welcome and make our stay great, he even said we needn't worry about the booking out time and that we could book out at whatever time suited us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the bush veld and the wild night sounds of the bush, while sitting around a boma fire. There was an ample supply of hard wood for making fire and braaing. I can definitely recommend this venue."

  • "Very disappointed in what should have been a lovely stay on"

    18 September 2017

"Very disappointed. The place has fallen into complete disrepair and it feels like the owners were more concerned about getting our money than offering any hospitality - when we arrive the first thing she asked for was whether we had paid - despite having done so.When we arrive there was litter streen everywhere (by the monkies) but their staff hadn't bothered to pickup. Similarly cigarette butts everywhere. A dead rat in the pool, with stinking water. The fridge didn't work - disappointing to at a campsite with lots of fresh food and no fridge to store it in.The workers were still doing basic repairs like foxng broken doors and windows. The water system only worked intermittently and we had to call the owner on numerous occasions to ask for it to be repaired. The wooden benches around the fire were broken.Very disappointing all in all.We spoke to Conrad, the manager, who apologized and agree the place as a "f@ckijg mess". He said he would give us a 50% discount. Money is not our issue - all we want is a decent place at fair value. Having said that, we don't want to be ripped off, so please do the necessary refund.I am disappointed by Safarinow, because expect you guys to screen the quality of the places you host on your website. We look forward to hearing from you.Kind regardsDaniel & Emely0838604583"
