  "The booking, reminder and welcome were all very professional but disappointed based on the price we paid that the entrance gate does not have any intercom or remote opening mechanism, there is no microwave, electric kettle and we are still waiting (we have since checked out) for the outside light to be fixed which was reported on the first night. There is no warning about there being a gas stove / hob and no matches / lighter were provided. There is no brochure of things to do or suggestions offered. The facilities appear basic to say the least. Accommodation is however comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen facilities being outside is also not ideal."

  "Had a nice time, the manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.there is lack of privacy, the pool is too small, the kitchen is outside the chalet, our food was stolen while we went out.we booked for a double bed they put two single beds together so they would separate while we are in it."

  "<p>I have been to different self catering resorts but this one was so different in a sense that we had to ask for a cleaner (that was not communicated when we did the bookings) We used the same linen for the entire 3 days. There is no kiosk on premises(only a pub).The key deposit I had to find out about itway after we paid for full accommodation. The place is far from townsyou need to have activities.</p>"

  "The room was clean and pleasant but not what we booked. We booked a 6 sleeper so we could have privacy but were given a family room which allowed for no privacy as there was no closed off rooms. We were also woken up early morning by very noisy guests next door so the walls were very thin."

  "We wanted peace & rest, a family getaway. That is what we wanted & what we got! Clean, tidy accommodations with a delightful 'stoep kitchen'. Had the whole place to ourselves which was an awesome plus. If you just want to chill away from the usual distractions, this place is perfect. We all enjoyed the break even the young adults in our group."

  "My friends and our children had a wonderful, fun-filled time at Balule. No TV, just laughter and "catch-up" sessions with the ladies. The lodge is peaceful and chalets were very clean and neat. Thank you very much to the owners. Although we left later than we had to, the gentleman was just that, a gentleman. Thank you."
