Situated in the heart of the Magaliesberg mountains, surrounded by a lush garden and green lawns, Budmarsh offers five-star accommodation, fine dining and conference facilities in a charming country setting a short distance from the historic town of Magaliesburg.

As soon as one enters the tranquil world of Budmarsh, the cares of the world dissipate. Allow yourself time to wander through our rose garden, enjoy a quiet afternoon fly-fishing or keep a lookout for the varied birdlife in the area.

Enjoy tranquil rambles through the lush surrounds, dips in the pool and for the more competitive, there is always the challenge of a game of billiards. Savour elegant picnics in our garden, a high tea under the old oak tree and a superb dining experience in the care of our executive chef.

The lodges wine cellar offers a selection of fine wines, our sommelier will assist with your wine choices and wine pairing. The Bud and Marsh Pub serves cocktails and refreshments.

Combining elegance and old world charm, each room contains antique furniture and is equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee-making facilities and a minibar (stocked on request).

The bathrooms have a shower and a bath. Some rooms also offer an atrium shower and spa bath.

"We had an awesome time at Budmarsh - the service and food was out of this world! Thank you to Jakob for his special attention - what an asset to this business! My only little little complaint is that we were hoping to do some fly fishing but the little dam was very small and the other 2 big dams were drained. A bit disappointing but overall we will most certainly be back....specially for the food!!!!"

"We had an awesome time at Budmarsh, the facilities, food and service were brilliant! I would just clarify the contents of the rooms a bit more on your website. The room we took had no armchairs, besides a little wooden chair at the small desk. We were not able to relax in our room if we wanted. Would imagine for a 5 star this would be a pre-requisite. Lastly, why ask if we were celebrating anything (our anniversary), when it wasnt acknowledged at all. Other guests were receiving cakes for birthdays, etc."

"If peace and quiet, excellent food and service are what you are looking for, then Budmarsh is the place to visit.We had a wonderful stay, were comfortable and enjoyed the experience. The only downside was that tour underfloor heating was not working, making the bathroom really cold.The room was warm with the fireplace fing at all times."
