Enjoy a peaceful weekend visiting our 34-hectare farm, situated just outside of Magaliesburg, or join us for one of our exciting events or adventures. We offer nine campsites all with electricity, two chalets and two dormitories.
We are also open for day visitors on weekends; by appointment between 08.00 and 17:00. Where guests can enjoy the pool and picnic area, play a game of putt putt, ride a few laps on our quad bikes, feed the animals in the farm yard or hit a few balls on our driving range.

06 November 2014"Luxury camping without the price-tag! The best of both worlds - beautiful outdoors but with an electric plug point, great braai facilities and outstanding ablutions. We had a wonderful weekend and Marelize and Riaan were the most amazing hosts who were available to help with our every need. Fantastic trip to do with kids as there are so many awesome activities for them to do including quad bikes, putput, jungle gym, swimming pool etc. Will definitely be back!"

09 August 2013"Die Appelboom is a very basic campsite. Braai, water and power are in place. The ablution blocks are clean, but limited to the essentials. The staff is very friendly. Die Appelboom is a perfect first stop after flying in to Johannesburg and picking up a camper. One doesn't want to camp closer to Johannesburg considering the shacks that stretch out way past Roodepoort. Price is a bit high looking at what you get compared to other campsites we visited. The sunrise was beautiful!"
