  "Jameson Country Cottages is such a tranquil environment, with caring and friendly staff. Even before we arrived we felt welcomed and once we were at the cottages we felt immediately home.   "Ons het ons naweek vreeslik geniet. Kon weer tyd saam met my man spandeer, en ons het vreeslik ontspan, net wat ons nodig gehad het. Die personeel is vreeslik vreindelik en behulpsaam. Alles was voorberei toe ons aankom, dit laat mens sommer belangrik voel. Baie dankie julle, ons sal julle defnitief weer sien."

A nice touch was the friendly dogs running around, keeping us company on our walks and in the evenings."

  "We had a lovely time! The Owners and staff were fantastic. The garden is charming and boasts quite a selection of birds. The cottages are extremely neat and clean and the whole place has a country feel. It has an old world charm. I think "tranquil" is a good way to describe the atmosphere."

  "Lovely cottages set 10km outside the small town of Magliesberg. We had cottage 6 which was a large cottage with fireplace (needed for winter booking). The cottage was very clean, the owners and staff very helpful, kind and friendly. The surrounding grounds are beautiful.Only down side was we had a few ants showing up along the window of cottage 6 which we mentioned. A quick spray (which they provided) did the trick. No worries though as you are in the mountains - there might be some insects!Very happy with experience and would happily go back again."

  "My husband and I stayed in cottage 5 on 6 September 2013. The cottage is spacious and the beds comfortable. There is a lot of annoying little laminated and non-laminated notes with different instructions.The place needs to be upgraded - green towels that has been washed out, interior wall cracks, etc."

  "We stayed at Jameson for two nights. The cottage was very nice equipped and comfortable. We felt at home immediately. Everything needed was there, they offered fire-wood for a small amount and assisted us well. The only negative point is that we had to pay an additional amount of 250 Rand because we shifted our stay by one week, which we never experienced before. But all in all: Very much recommendable!"

  "What a wonderful weekend of rest in the peaceful and beautifully appointed cottages. We took three of the cottages and from the moment we arrived we took in the wonderful feeling of tranquility that the grounds exude. The children were able to roam around freely with the dogs on the property following them around just to make sure they were safe. Sitting in the gorgeous tea garden is a great way to spend the afternoon. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely return."
