  "A beautiful escape just outside Johannesburg that is not only dog friendly but centered around dog happiness. Friendly hosts, private fenced off gardens beautiful hikes and several doggy pools along the route. Well be back for sure."

  "Great stay, in a truly "pet friendly" environment. Our house was private and very quiet with amazing views. The dogs loved the enclosed dog run and the fenced in yard. Our hosts were so accommodating and had thought of so many little things to make our stay really comfortable. Will definitely return for another visit."

  "We really enjoyed our stay at Stone Hill. The lodge was spacious and very cared after and we had a daily visit from the owner to find out if everything was in order. Our five four-legged children were so excited about the daily visit by the 3 ponies. It was wonderful to find such a place where your pets were so welcome. We will definitely visit again."

  "We had a fantastic weekend at Stone Hill, it was peaceful and even with the rain and cold weather we were nice and cosy in our cottage.The accommodation and facilities are great and are spotlessly clean - no need to leave the premises as there are plenty to do on the farm.Thank you to Caroline and Mark for the thoughtful touches - they even offered to provide a cot and bedding for our daughter. We will be back!"

  "Stonehill is truly a tranquil getaway - from the crazy rat race.It was beautiful, with nature on your doorstep.My 2yr old daughter and 5 yr old son absolutely loved it. Attention to detail is given personally by Caroline, your host.The cottage is a cute, wooden place with modern equipment and cleanliness at the top of the list.The walk is fun and offers some great views.All in all our weekend was marvellous. Will definitely be back!"

You feel like you are in heart of a Swiss Ski resort - the cottages are beautiful and the fireplace adds a romantic touch. The kids were ecstatic in the loft with their own little lounge and plenty room to play. What a relaxing weekend with an abundance of historical and cultural sites to visit all round.   "Less than one full day made us hunger for more. It was ages since I felt so relaxed. The hosts understand the balance between making you feel at home and giving you total privacy. Beautiful nature, yet close to treats (hotels, adventure oppurtunities, etc)"
