Pinella and Castanea Farm Cottages

Pinella and Castanea Farm Cottages are located just off the R71, between Polokwane and Tzaneen in Magoebaskloof.

Pinella Farm Cottage can accommodate 7 guests, and comprises of a main bedroom with a queen-size bed, and an open-plan loft equipped with 2 additional queen-size beds, 1 single bed as well as a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and a basin. The unit has an additional guest toilet. Pinella Farm cottage features a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, and microwave. Guests have access to a fireplace, a covered verandah with seating as well as a portable braai area. Please note wooden deck has no barriers and all bedrooms are upstairs.

Smoking is not permitted in the unit and there is no TV. Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

Castanea Cottage is a stylish farm cottage that sleeps 7 to 9 guests. 2 Guests can be accommodated in the master bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom, 2 guests in the twin bedroom and 3 to 5 in the loft. Castanea cottage has two fireplaces, one in the kitchen and dining room and 1 in the TV room. The outdoor fire pit is great for a group gathering and the veranda overlooking the small dam and has enough space for long, lazy weekend lunches.

Smoking is not permitted in the unit. Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

"Perfect family hide-away, beautiful setting. Our kids loved going for walks and playing with the friendly dogs on the farm. The cottage offers privacy, a large loft area upstairs and lovely stoep with stunning views. Firewood is supplied for the cozy fireplace. The cottage is easy to get to and within close proximity of family friendly restaurants. If you go in winter, take some extra blankets although there are a fireplace and heater. The dvd player is a great touch for winter especially, unfortunately the kiddies movies have seen some wear and tear and not in working condition, we will take some of our own movies next time. But the cottage is stocked with books and board games, so really no need for tv. We loved our stay and will definitely be back."

"Our stay at Pinella Cottage was in a word; Magical.<div>Think Hansel and Gretel Cottage, but fortunately without the witch. Our kids absolutely loved it and left adamant that they had seen the odd fairy during our stay. <span style="line-height: 1.5;">The view from the braai area alone is well worth the visit and we had one of the most unforgettable braais under the stars on the Saturday night.</span><span style="line-height: 1.5;">I would recommend Pinella Cottage to anyone as the Cottage itself is very quaint and well decorated.</span><span style="line-height: 1.5;">We will definitely be back!</span></div>"
