"Unhappy with the condition of the room"

"We would like to request a refund of the Booking number: Enquiry #14459808 The room was smelling Geysfluid and was in the bad state cockroaches running all over the room. There was also the heavy dust coming from thatched roof which has triggers my wifes medical condition. We were therefore forced to leave the place during the night. We are very much disappointed as we had no other alternative. We, therefore wish to request our refund under unbearable medical condition and worst poor condition of the room. "

"Booked for 1 night. Early hours of the morning there was a break-in, they stole my 2 phones, handbag, money, husbands wallet... we later found 1 phone and handbag somewhere around bushes within lodge. Money was gone...I am never going back there... another family was also victimized same night... they robbed 3 rooms. Case opened with SAPS , we yet to receive feedback..."

"My stay was great but could have been more exciting. I plan to return in Summer to get a chance to go on the sunset cruise but to also book their Dragonfly (Honeymoon) Suite. I was impressed by the friendly and informed staff, especially Sis Betty. The environment is so calming and very relaxed. The breakfast was not up to scratch (limited variety) and a microwave in the room would be welcome."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Shiluvari. Friendly staff, especially Lucky. He always has a smile on his face. The only downside to Shiluvari is the breakfast. They really should try not to only have eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. Maybe more variety will give Shiluvari a better rating in the future."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely, quiet and beautiful venue. The accommodation is tasteful and most comfortable. Housekeeping was very helpful with breakfasts as we were birding all the time. Samson is excellent and we will return in summer and will recommend as far as possible."

"We enjoyed the setting very much - I really appreciated that Clare managed to "upgrade" us to the honeymoon suite as it was a much needed romantic break for city weary folks.Shiluvari was tranquil and the service wonderful.The only problem is that the surrounding area seems to offer a visitor very little and we are a couple that take local tourism very seriously.Both visitors information centres in the area were CLOSED over the long weekend and we ended up seeing "sights" via our Garmin...This situation is really bad for local tourism.If you need to get totally away from everything, in understated luxury, this is the place for you."
