Malelane Rest Camp Kruger National Park SANParks

Malelane Rest Camp can be found where the rolling fields of sugar canes of the neighbouring farms and the majestic savannah of the Kruger National Park are separated by the powerful Crocodile River.

The camp is unique because it is the only camp to be placed on a boundary. Malelane Camp has the added benefit of being a very small camp, with fewer guests than found in the main camps, adding to a more intimate bush experience.

PLEASE NOTE: from 1 September 2017, all visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce their identity document (ID), passport or alternative valid identification e.g. drivers licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Park.

PLEASE NOTE: the rates are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Quotes will include the 1% Community Levy, but will exclude daily conservation fees, which are to be paid directly to camp on arrival.

  • "Our stay at Malelane Rest Camp in Kruger National Park"

    14 September 2017

"The highlight of our stay was that everything was ready and organised when we arrived which was stress free. What a pleasure. The chalet was well equiped and extremely clean. If we may, we would suggest maybe a light outside at the braai area or attached to the chalet as it got rather dark whilst trying to do a braai."

  • "Lovely"

    02 August 2011

"Lovely camp; small and quiet. Had ellies visiting the perimeter the first evening and a brown-hooded kingfisher as a nearest neighbour the next day. Saw two leopards on the Malelane-Berg-en-Dal road and a herd of 11 rhinos. A great place to be. Wish we had booked more than the two nights."
