  "The apartment is furnished with very minimal basics but reasonably comfortable. The blinds in the family room are broken. The bathroom carpets were not replaced with clean ones. The area was very dirty with litter between buildings, on the beaches, rocks and noisy almost every day, Margate has become so neglected and run down, not an area to bring international visitors to. The best aspect of the apartment is its volumes the sea view at a distance."

  "What I loved was the size of the apartment , what can be improved is providing clean and hygienic facilities (no bin lid,curtains were filthy,stained toilets,showers and dusty apartment on the whole!) other improvement areas are the gas braai (rusted ,broken) did not work , oven isn't working , fridge was filthy !!!!"

  "03/03/17 - 05/03/17 The place was very neat and clean when we got there. It was very comfy. The views were gorgeous and the rooms we got were spacious. The security is ok.The facilities are limited, its just the under cover parking and the pool. However i was utterly disappointed by the attitude given to us by Natasha the care taker. The braai stand wasn't working gas filled the whole balcony and we were inhaling it for quite some time. We explained everything to her and she lied to say she'd send someone to help us...we waited for some time and the calls were ignored. When they finally got answered she became extremely rude saying we should drive to Ramsgate (saying her house address out loud) for us come to her place and braai there instead if it made us happy because she cant do anything about it. She accused us of breaking it. She said we should wait until Monday till she sends someone to fix it. (Bare in mind we were leaving on Sunday). The plugs in the house kept going off throughout the weekend and we couldn't charge our cellphones...and at times we couldn't even use the stove to cook. John asked us to touch the switches everytime they went off the main switch board... (How risky?!!!!)....The way Natasha spoke to me is not how guests are suppose to be treated...Instead of apologizing for the faulty braai stand she sent a text saying she couldn't help me and there was nothing she could do..we slept hungry that night. I wouldn't recommend for any one to book this place until the electricity is fixed or else you will be touching the electrical distribution board the whole weekend ...and that isnt safe!!! im soo disappointed!!!"

  "The name Penthouse is misleading as you expect everything to be perfect. The photo's is outdated. For starters the couch needs replacement. It is plainly not acceptable to cover a torn couch with throws. And when last have they been washed? All the blinds need to be replaced as well. We could not use the one bedroom since the blinds are not able to close and the light of the outside passage shines directly into the bedroom and anybody walking past can look into the room. Only one bedlamp per bedroom is also not acceptable. The gas braai does not work 100%. Only the one side heats up. Also the location is not the best since the street below is noisy, although it has a beautiful view. On the positive side it is nice and spacious, the beds are comfortable and it was clean."

  "Our stay was absolutely fabulous , the view was amazing the house was spacious clean and well kept and I will definitely recommend this place and return for another visit. No major complaints however very disappointing to have to check out at 9am as I found this very early and to be a rush In the Morning."

  "While the position and views are good, this unit needs a LOT of maintenance. The dining room table is so wobbly, it is unusable. The couch needs to be replaced as it is worn through and covered in stains. (This is why it is covered with blankets...) The gas braai is so rusted, it is unusable. There are terrible cracks in the walls that need the attention of a builder. The patio storage door is off its hinges and lying against the wall. Would have appreciated it if we were informed to supply own toilet paper."

  "Very nice. The cleaning lady was very arrogant. She said it is not her job to clean the flat. We had to pay her to clean the floors then to wash the dishes and then to clean the braai."
