"House was unfortunately dirty and did not have enough cutlery for 6 people"

  • "Way over priced!"

    08 July 2018

"We requested for the pool to be filled but went the whole weekend without water in the pool, no response from owner. The house was not cleaned dust and webs everywhere. The previous tenants empty bathroom containers still in the bathrooms. The kettle and fridge not in perfect working conditions. No wash cloths in kitchen to do dishes. Some of the globes in the house was blown out and not replaced. No maintenance and cleaning done before we booked in. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT"

  • "Could be a nice place"

    03 January 2017

"I did not expect much after having read the reviews and need to say the house has great potential but is really worn down. To my taste it needs an entire upgrade. If someone is looking for a resonably priced and very basic place it might be ok - not for me."

  • "Perfect for a bush stay"

    10 August 2016

"We had a lovely stay at Bundu. The house is equipped for a basic stay in the bush. Do not expect hotel facilities when booking Bundu but rest assured - if your plan is to enjoy the bush and wildlife, then Bundu will not disappoint you."

    29 March 2016

"It was a battle from the start as the key was misplaced and we were driving up and down Marloth to get the key.The house itself wa like a dungeon, dark and dirty. The fridge was not working and it seemed there is no cleaning service. We left 2 days earlier than planned. The place will not see me again."

  • "Stay at Bundu"

    01 January 2016

"We had a lovely stay at Bundu the place was clean and neat and there is everything you need. We had animals visiting us and the splash pool braai area is lovely. The location is perfect near the river.<br />The only improvement needed is new matresses for the beds.<br />We will definetly go there again<br />"

"Dark, dingy and dirty - a great pity as the location is lovely and the house has great potential. Sadly, we would not recommend Bundu."

  • "OUR STAY IN SEPTEMBER 2015"

    17 October 2015

"<p>This place is a NO-NO! Untidy curtains, very old &amp; uncomfortable furniture and un-sleepable beds. Bad lighting in open area. Can't read.Very dark inside the kitchen cupboards. Needs a torch to see inside. Very little kitchen utensils &amp; bowls. Not suitable for 6 persons. Not well maintained.Plus pointthe puddle pool and closeness toKruger fence. Good luck for the next visitors!</p><p></p>"

  • "BOYS TRIP"

    31 August 2015

"<p>We had a great long weekend at Bundu House.</p><p>Well positioned just off the main river roadto avoid the dust but close enough to just being able to walk a few hundred meters to the krugerpark fence. The only criticism we had is that the beds are not great...... in dire need of replacement. Andmake them all single beds.</p>"

  • "Awesome Breakaway"

    11 August 2015

"We had a stunning long weekend away in a really nice comfortable house. We heard hippos and lions every night. And hyenas too. And being able to wake up and walk to the river in the mornings was awesome."

  • "Away from the buz"

    21 July 2015

"Our stay here was so relaxing and a pleasure. Being away from the daily buzz and craze of Joburg is exactly what our family needed and we loved every second.<div><br /></div><div>We did kind of hope to have a TV but really it was not a train smash as it was a way of bring the family together to rekindle and bond.</div><div><br /></div><div>Oh and please be careful of the monkey's!! They WILL steal your food if you leave windows open (including cars)</div><div><br /></div><div>I miss it already!!</div>"

  • "Real Bundu experience"

    22 December 2014

"Spacious house. Great that there were a gas stove and a geyser to rely on. Nice and clean, mostly equipped. We heard lions and hyena every night and we saw lions every day, even a leopard, elephant, buffalo, lots of birds all in KNP side by the river. We had nice morning walks next to the river as the house is very close. We enjoyed our stay very much. Will do this again, it was worth it! A real bundu experience and great!"

  • "weekend at bundu"

  • "Our "Bundu Bash""

    08 July 2014

"I took 2 of my friend on there first "Bundu Bash". They enjoyed it so much that they can't wait to get back to the bush. We saw impala, kudu, warthog & a bushbuck while sitting at the braai. They could not believe their eyes when they saw how close the animals come & it was a treat to feed them some fruit. The accommodation was great. All the basic needs were catered for & the house is in a quiet spot but within walking distance from Kruger border where we had the privilege to see a herd of buffalo & 3 lions feeding on a buffalo they killed. Will go back there anytime."

  • "Bundu's experience"

    14 April 2014

"The experience was unique but lovely in its own way. A 4X4 is highly recommended though because the roads are not kind on a smaller car. But overall, I had some good memories there..."

  • "Lovely stay"

    17 October 2013

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even extending it by another night. However we feel that the need for air conditioning is imperative. We would recommend this holiday home to anybody that enjoys privacy and nature. The roaming animals was an unexpected delight."
