"We stayed in Green Thorn Lodge over the Easter public holiday and it was such a great disappointment to our family! The Pictures and info that we got about this establishment were very misleading! The Swimming pool is not functional, very basic house in rustic style with poor furnishing. There are spider nets hanging everywhere; on the windows and doors, the toilet is right next to your bed in the main bedroom, no convenience and privacy! The Braai area is very poorly designed and set up with no cover. So during 2 rainy days which we had while staying in Green Thorn Lodge, we couldn't sit outside or enjoy what most people love to do - enjoy the outdoors while braiing. We couldn't wait to go home and definitely wont recommend this place to any of our friends!"
"Very special bush retreat, had everything to make life comfortable. Game viewing from the benches nearby was great, saw most of the big five without traveling into Kruger which was only 15 minutes away. Would definitely revisit."
"Thanks for a wonderfull stay! The house was perfect, cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed every moment."
