  "I enjoyed the stay at chalet 1 everything was clean and in working order. River view was amazing saw lots of animals.Safari now helped us when there was trouble with the booking. Thank you for excellent service."

  "Upon check in... we were never told where to go... after a quick search we had to go back to find out and we were directed out the property. When we found out, its out side the property and had no view... I asked if the chalets were available and I got a reluctant YES, I was told the one we had booked was "lovely" and we should go have a look... she also added that if we wanted to change she would have to call head office in witbank and that they don't take cash .. all this gave me the impression that she was just lazy to change the booking... they would of made more money if they just changed the booking and we might have enjoyed our stay! So off we go to go find our rondavel .... find it and less than impressed but not in the mood to deal with the receptionist, we decide to stay... big mistake... As the sun is setting we off to drive around and go to the shops. After a stop at the shops to buy items to braai and a great game drive around marloth... sun has already set... we arrive back and its pitch black... except for one little porch light by the entrance door... this trip was last minute so we did not bring our usually camping gear... so we had no torches or lamps... the braai area was in complete darkness.. no way we could braai and enjoy our time. So we decided to ditch the braai... sadly... we both love braaing... we in the bush after all... we get over that and decide to go to the restaurant in the resort... not even going to go there... biggest disappointment ever! Back to our cave... we sleep... beds not to bad... Wake up early... its a new day... we going to kruger for the day... what could go wrong... well well... NO HOT WATER! No Henk van Rooyen... you really disappoint us this time! Ill return but only if last resort... Not impressed! Latestly... website is FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Safarinow... think you should step in and let them update their site. It says river view but there has been no river there since the voortrekkers camp there!"

  "Cleanliness but a bit dated. Washbasin cracked and plug not correct size. Bit awkward when shaving. Mirror not above basin. Pricing a bit on the high side comparing place I stay normally. For a family that wants saving, very good choice."

  "We loved the whole vibe of the lapa walking to overlooking the river to watch the wildlife as we sipped on our sundowners .... brilliant and the chalet was so perfectly perfect. The next morning we headed out for Kruger early and so the plan was to wash our dishes when we returned. Whilst we were away the "Dishes cleaning fairies"washed our dishes. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise THANK YOU ..... Next time all we need for a perfect stay....is SNORING Mufflers under the pillow so I cant hear hubby snoring after his relaxing day"

  "The price considering location was amazing and would love to go back except that the bathroom is really Not up to standard. The thatch roof gives off a very unpleasant smell when doors are closed. The amount of trees along the river blocks off any view one could have of the river which defeats the purpose of the location on the river bank. The bed in the lounge nex to the door was terrible and woke up stiff cos u basically sleep on planks.The bunk beds shud rather be 2 single beds alongside each other."

  "The chalets overlook the Crocodile River and are clean and functional. The pool was also very clean and the restaurant serves great cocktails. I would definitely recommend the park to other guests. Chalets are more suitable for families than for groups of friends, would recommend a chalet to yourself if you are a couple. Personally, would also like to have a better waste management system- ie. A bin for recylable items and maybe one for compost (this is not a criticism, rather a recommendation)."

  "I had a wonderful time. Chalet #1 by the river was clean and comfortable with a lovely kitchen and bathroom had very nice bathtub with shower. The patio was well shaded. I saw hippos and elephants and many other animals as well as so many different kinds of birds who came to visit the nearby trees.The staff was warm and friendly, and I would definitely be willing to come here again. Everything in the chalet was in good working order. I could drink the water from the tap. I felt very safe and secure in the location. This is a very magical place!"

  "Very comfortable for a weekend or maybe even week away. All you need if you love the bush. Bird-lovers paradise. This 3 chalets are not inside the main venue as per advertisement but separately also camped of in Krokodil street. Very quiet. Maybe better than inside the venue where we noticed the swimming pool was crowded and noisy with children. Only complaint is ceiling fan which has only and on/off switch. When on it is on maximum and sounds and feels like a helicopter taking off. This 3 chalets will be fantastic for a group of about 6-10 who wants to enjoy the bush. Own little Boma and scullery for this little bush camp gives a true African experience."

  "Good day. Would just like to inform the guys at safari. The stay we had was very nice and had nothing to complain about, except for the picture above which was booked trough safari as the rondavel but was in actual fact the chalet and we surely did not have the view that is shown in the picture above. Please have a look at the advertising since it is false at this moment. Thank you."

  "It was clean and had all that we needed for the night. I would recommend an air conditioner. We also thought that we are staying at the campsite with a view over the river and near amenities I.e. pool but instead we stayed down the road with no view."

  "What an amazing view from our unit number 2. The bird life is amazing. Only concern was the cleaning staff have no regard to privacy. Just walk in when then feel like it and don't seem to be bothered that you are just coming out of the shower. Other than that a wonderful stay. We will be back, but will opt for the camping next time."

  "Enjoyable & peaceful stay until a caravan club arrived on Fri 18 Sept for the w/end. Many, many caravans crammed into sites 4 to 9 (I think, difficult to tell) resulting in noise and tremendous strain on ablution facilities. This was reason we left a day earlier than planned. Before booking again for camping I will ask if a caravan club is expected because such volumes of people spoilt the serene peaceful atmosphere. Ablutions were inadequate, no hot water available at times, and too few toilets for influx of people. Disappointed :("

  "The directions we got from our correspondence with the bookings department was not suitable for caravan travel. From the N4 the Marloth Park turnoff was onto a gravel road for 8km,(as directed) and with a caravan in tow, this is not ideal. We later discovered an alternative road, from N4 take the turnoff after the Marloth Park exit to the Tenbosch exit."

  "The stay was very nice but Lana that handled the booking made a double booking and we had to leave a day early. She knew about the double booking but conveniently only let us pay for four nights and confirmed our booking for 5 days. When I said to her that the amounts don't add up she said it was for 5 days. Apparently it's not the first time she does this. So make sure about your booking. Proof on black and white don't matter to her. And the worst is she don't even apologize, she said it's our fault not her fault. We will surely not book with her again!"
