  • "Braaing under the stars while lion roar"

    17 September 2018

"We enjoyed the pool and Braai area. Being outside in the sun or under the stars was definitely the highlight. The quiet location of Ingwena view was fantastic and being so close to the Kruger National Park fence was also a treat. We saw Elephant and Buffalo most days while walking along the fence. Over all a fantastic stay."

  • "Ingwenya View"

    23 July 2018

"The week at Ingwenya View was a memorable experience. The accommodation was clean and neat. The showers were hot and the water pressure was great. The kitchen was well equipped which made self-catering a breeze. The braai facilities were excellent as well. The location is ideal; Literally within a stones throw of the fence of the Kruger National Park. A short stretch of the Crocodile river can be viewed from the observation deck. Morning walks down Crocodile road provided excellent views of game grazing on the river bank. Hippo's, crocodile , elephants , impala, buffalo, blue wildebeest, kudu, zebra, giraffe and warthogs were common, especially along the river. We did not see any lion but could hear their deep grunt after sundown.Highly recommended!"

  • "Well equipped and convenient location"

    12 June 2018

"We loved the tranquil setting near the river adjacent to the Kruger Park. Our big complaint was the gas shower which did not work. Either scorching hot or ice cold on and off without being able to regulate it. The shower curtain upstairs is awful and a germ breeder. After getting scorched and freezing in the middle of winter, we ended up washing with a bucket and feeling very primitive. The toilet downstairs is leaking and we had to put a container under the pipe to catch the water. The pool pump was running 3 times a day and sucking air which made it quite irritating when we wanted to have a rest or listen to the nature sounds. The place felt a bit impersonal as there was no one we could report the above to during our stay and we wonder if the caretaker spends enough time there to notice these things. The security staff were not very friendly. We will not return unless the gas shower is replaced as otherwise the place was very comfortable and well equipped."

  • "Quietness"

"Layout a bit uncomfortable with Lounge being Up Stares."

  • "Enjoy the sights and sounds of Kruger NP from Ingwenya view"

    28 December 2017

"Ingwenya view is the perfect place to enjoy wildlife around Marloth Park and a stone throw away from Kruger National Park. The lodge is very clean and cozy. Kruger's NP crocodile river is less than a minute walk from the house. You can see elephants, hippos, girraffes or antelopes by the river."

Kitchen was FULLY equipped (gas stove and oven, microwave) including all the pots and pans and even plastic containers which we could use to prepare some snacks for the game drive. Beds were very comfortable. We had some visitors (zebras, kudu and warthogs). It was also very close to Crocodile River."

  • "Somewhat Dissapointing"

    02 April 2016

"<p>In general the house has most items needed.</p><p>The lounge is upstairs with no seating arrangement on the ground floor.</p><p>The beds was a huge disappointment, definitely not acceptablewhen accommodatingpaying guests. We were also informed that there would be a lady to do the general cleaning on a Thursday, never saw anyone during our 3 day stay.</p><p>It is definitely not recommended to visit this house during the summer as the temp inside the house was 34 dg late at night and the wall mounted fans is definitely not sufficient.</p><p>Images are very misleading as you have no view over the Crocodile river, the main reason we selected Ingwenya view. 30 March 2016

"<p>Ingwenya View was a piece of heaven. Beautiful and peaceful just what I needed for the Easter Weekendholiday.House is very clean and well equipped. Its close to the crocodile river so we got to see a lot of elephants, rhino's and the kudu's and hear the hippo's. Will definitely come back again.</p><p>Recommendation to the owner is to look into the upstairs lighting and adjusting of the hot water in the showers. </p>"

  • "December 2015"

    31 December 2015

"<p>The house was fine in the sense that everything was there that you need. We were thankful for all the fridge space and the pool. I would however not recommend to use this house in the hottest months of the year. The fans in the house does not help at all for the heat buildup in the house. You cannot leave the windows open for air as it is not baboon safe. The stove/ oven is not great. There is also not adequate light upstairs, there are few lamps with black lampshades. Unfortunately we also had generator noise throughout the 5 days from another property nearby. I am sure in winter months the house would be lovely to visit.<span>&nbsp; </span></p>"

  • "John and Hazel Blair South Africa"

    10 October 2015

"Great thought has been put into the accommodation, from little necessities like scissors and two fridges in the kitchen, to a very welcome dip pool and DSTV that we normally wouldn't have watched but insured we didn't miss our beloved Boks playing a World Cup game!! Our daily visits from different animals to the chalet was a treat to look forward to and Crocodile Bridge entrance to Kruger was close. Saw the big 5 in one morning . Shops and restaurants were in close proximity too. Would highly recommend Ingwenya View."

  • "Great stay"

    13 July 2015

"<p>We enjoyed a fabulous 4-night stay at Ingwenya view. The house was well appointed, and we had the opportunity to see some game (especially elephants) drift down to the river todrink. Hippos and lions were certainly active participants to the night-time noise. We had regular visits from warthogs and zebra to the house. Access to the Kruger (via Crocodile Bridge) was quick. </p><p>An enjoyable stay, in a comfortable and well-appointed house. Many thanks!</p>"

  • "Great Stay at Ingwenya View"

    07 May 2015

"<p>We had a great time at the House. </p><p>Only recommendation is to tell Guests that regular Load shedding is going on. When Electricity failed we checked the Fuse box and found all in order so we started to worry that somebody from outside has disconnected the supply. Otherwise it was a great stay and we really relaxed with everything happening that was promised. We will not hesitate to go back.</p>"

  • "A piece of heaven"

    10 November 2014

"Our weekend at Ingwenya View was very enjoyable. Everything that we needed was there for us. We saw plenty of warthogs, zebra and eagles around the house. The Lion roars were also incredible. I would recommend this piece of heaven to anyone. There are a lot of nice restaurants close by as well. Thank you Ingwenya view for such an enjoyable weekend."

  • "Very Comfortable"

    23 April 2014

"Everything was great. Very close to Crocodile River. The one thing that let it down was no towels. I did receive an email stating that no towels would be provided but we forgot. Otherwise very nice."

  • "Great place"

    30 August 2013

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We were visited bij 8 zebra's. It is a pity that we had to pay 400 rand for the bedsheets. It seems us very expensive. But the house is worth your money and actually very cheap, so we don't complain."

  • "Our stay at Ingwenya View"

    04 September 2011

"We had a wonderful week here on a family holiday. The house itself is perfect and has everything you need. The location can't be beaten, with the Crocodile River right at the bottom of the driveway. We were visited by warthogs, striped mongoose, buck, zebra and giraffe. We regularly saw elephants, hippos and crocodiles at the river. The big highlight was being lucky enough to see a pride of lions eating a buffulo they had killed right by the fence. I can thoroughly recommend this place for an unforgettable holiday."

  • "Great"

    10 May 2011

"It was lovely staying at Ingenya View, it is just a pity that the trees have grown so big that one can hardly see the river. We were very impressed with the nicely equipped kitchen. We hope to be back soon."

  • "It was fantastic"

    29 September 2010

"We enjoyed it very much. The house was very well-equipped, clean and we had everything we need. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the animals down by the river. We saw a lion, a leopard, herd of elephants, herd of buffalo, zebra, hippo, kudu, etc. We will definitely make use of the house again."

    12 April 2010

"This is a well equipped, spacious and comfortable house. We spend many hours on the deck and saw hippo, rhino's, several buck, crocodiles etc from the comfort of our chairs, and were visited by zebra's, impala etc. The house had everything we needed, and even though the weather was really hot, we had a relaxed stay.
