  "Our family really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very well appointed but kept the safari feel. It was very special to sit at our braai next to the waterhole watching all the animals and the moon."

  "Thanks for the nice warm welcome. Excellent food, very friendly. The tents are clean and in winter a little bit cold but as you are in bed it is very comfortable to have a heating blanket."

  "Torgo's is the most magical place to stay. We overnighted there and had a comfy room, a stunning dinner, drinks by the fire whilst watching the springbok and wildebeest drink, a good night's sleep and a breakfast to die for. Our hosts were efficient, warm and wonderful people who made the entire experience memorable. I would recommend this establishment with no reservations whatsoever."

  "We once again had the most fantastic 4 nights at Torgo's. The facilities are immaculate, the food local and "lekker"! The surroundings fantastic. The waterhole at night always has something to see. The hosts and staff friendly and helpful! I wish it was closer to home. Would definitely be back more often. Will recommend it anywhere, anytime!"

  "We had a mixed experience at Torgo's, the tent/bungalows in which we stayed did not meet the price/quality standard we expected. The lack of a fridge and air conditioning made our stay, during the soaring summer, rather uncomfortable. The surroundings of the lodge are beautiful and the food which was prepared for us was great.Please note that the rules for using the Mata Mata border crossing are rigorously implemented .. EACH time you use this border crossing you need to stay at least two nights in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (KTP). Even if you stay just one night in Torgo's because all the camps in KTP are fully booked."

  "We spent an overnight at Torgos after leaving the Kgalagadi Park en route home and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The food was wonderfully cooked, very tasty indeed and the accommodation in the tents was comfortable and more than adequate. Watching game drinking at the floodlit waterhole in the evening was an added bonus. All in all it represented excellent value and we would return very happily."

  "My husband and I spent 6 nights at Torgo's and after a week my husband said that it felt as though we had been away for a month. We were so relaxed, the whole setup is amazing and the people were fabulous. Dirk, Erika, Thangi and Mogarno really made us feel very welcome. Would love to return one day!"

  "After spending over a week of camping in Namibia our stay at Torgos was pure bliss. Certainly the place to relax in luxury with the staff and management extremely professional and looking after all your needs. Will certainly be back to enjoy the peace and quite in a very special Kalahari setting (especially the meals)."

  "Torgo´s is a good option for those who want to stay outside the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Parc. The lodge is very close to the Mata Mata Gate (5km).The chalets were spotless clean and had nice african decoration.The food was good and the hosts very nice and helpful.We enjoyed the evening drive with a beautiful sundowner.Hope to come back soon."
