Triton Dive Lodge is just far enough off the beaten track to ensure absolute peace and tranquility with no unwanted distractions.
The lodges accommodation ranges from comfortable two and four-sleeper thatched Cabins to double en-suite chalets and fully equipped two-bedroom units, all neatly spaced around the premises to ensure maximum privacy. The rooms are airy, spacious and comfortable with an African theme.
Other facilities include a shady pool area for cooling off during the day, a restaurant, lounge, curio shop and a licenced bar. There is an equipped communal kitchen and a barbecue area which serves those who prefer the self-catering option.
Triton Dive Lodge has a very tranquil and natural atmosphere, with large lawn areas and indigenous trees making it a lush oasis, even in the height of summer. Relaxed evenings see friendly people swapping diving tales whilst barbecuing under the bright African stars. Alternatively a scrumptious pizza and a bottle of South African wine from Nomsas Restaurant are a winning combination.
"I really enjoyed my stay at Trion Dive Lodge, I couldn't fault anything. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Everything you need is there to use for self catering purposes as you share a big communal kitchen. Place is clean, tidy and located in a beautiful area. I did my first diving experience with Triton and can highly recommend there Instructor.I can recommend that a 4x4 will be the best to get to Triton but a 4x2 bakkie will fine as well, the road is not good for small rental cars, my advice is to phone the resort first to find out on the condition of the road.I will definitely use this the lodge again."
"We loved everything about the outdoors of the place and the friendly staff. It was a amazing experience and the outdoor shower was the highlight. Our only complaint was the bed , it was super uncomfortable and you just felt springs while laying down. Other than that it was a amazing experience to stay at tritol dive logde."
"The setting is beautiful with lovely staff."
"The area is really cool, I liked the style how the place is built. Especially the roofless showers with the tree next to the water are great! The only thing is the room we where in - it looked not that comfortable as the ones you see on the pictures here. But anyway, it was clean and had a mosquito net and really nice staff!"
"We stopped over during a business trip. Nice place; great people; great breakfast but no hot water; sandy road. Hope to be back for a diving holiday."
"We stayed for a weekend in the newly built 2 bedroom houses - very nice, so peaceful & great place to stay in between dives. We had dinner every night (Kim is a great cook) & still dreaming of the curries! Peter, Eve, Nadia & Sartjie were excellent hosts & very organised. Peter is a very experienced skipper which you definitely need diving in Sodwana - lovely reef fish, macro sea life & the manta rays were a bonus! We will definitely go back to stay there next time."
