Green Gables Old Mill

Known as the jewel of the Breede River Valley, McGregor enjoys the privilege of being one of the Western Cape's sunniest regions. With whitewashed cottages and leafy vineyards, you would be forgiven for mistaking it for a different place in time. It is a mere one and a half hours away from Cape Town.

We have nine bedrooms with lovely en-suite bathrooms and a well-equipped self-catering cottage. Your hosts have run the well-known Green Gables for years; join them for drinks on the terrace and share the spectacular view as you watch the moon rise on long summer evenings.

Delicious meals are served in a superb dining room. The pub lives on and offers a place where visitors can feel at home while chatting to locals and tasting the superb wines of the region.
